Update 10/18/25: Went here on Friday October 17th 2025 with my parents to attend The RV Show. The RV show is going on This Friday October 17, This Saturday October 18, and Sunday October 19. We decided to go on Friday, but however, they did close at 7PM This time, there was no attendant at the parking area, and we got in for free and avoided the $5.00 parking fee. Maybe Fridays Nights are slow, and they figure it's not needed? Anyways, Saturday and Sunday one may not have been able to get away with it though. Walked to the convention center, walked in saw some local campgrounds, and other businesses relating to travel there. For a Friday It did seem a little slow, and I feel that businesses such as KOA or Pirateland should have been there. Not sure if they are there now or not. Tickets for $15.00 for the RV show, 5 per person. paid via cash. Pleasant staff members all throughout, including the RV show staff dealer members too. I love the usage of space both indoor and outdoors, and that they were lots of trailers from motorhomes, to 5th wheels, travel trailers, and more. They have familiar brands like Forest River, and non familar brands like the newest ones. Most of them were really nice with different layouts. Convention center was clean and organized. Also used the restrooms which were also clean and organized. Highly recommend checking out The RV show! As well as other events! I'm still looking for them to do a Horror Con! Please! Went here on Sunday September 14th 2025 with my parents, and a few friends for the first time to attend the home show. Parking is $5.00 but one can reenter during the day if you need. There are plenty of parking spots in the lot. The convention center is also easy to access and is walkable. Convention center room was very clean and accomodated many businesses together in a small space. Restrooms were also clean, and they had a small snack stand available and open as well. Convention center was clean and walkable. Hope to be back soon for another event!.any...

This was a nice Convention Center from what I could view as I didn't get around into the entire space, I was solely there for the onsite job fair. Now I hated to be critical but the job fair itself could have been much better. I come from larger cities and job fairs are referred to as career fairs to start. Unfortunately there were only limited entities to apply. Myrtle Beach needs to change their concept and understand that this town is not only a tourist attracting town but a now "livable city". Let's face it the population here is going to grow vastly in the next few years, people are relocating here daily. You need to understand that you need bigger names aka potential career makers in businesses to maintain the population and for the communties to maintain survival and not use Myrtle Beach as just another stepping stone before on to another state. It amazes me that something as simple as a Call Center industry job here in Myrtle Beach doesn't really exist. Sure if you are in the Resort job streamline it's here, if it's windows and doors it here and do forth. But people want better pay, insurance 401k and to be able to purchase here in Myrtle Beach not just to feel as a seasonal visitor. This minimal pay isn't appropriate whatsoever when you can't even pay your rent here in Myrtle Beach on what you make. Rents are phenomenally expensive and yet the pay is substantially low. Now explain to me how that makes any sense whatsoever??? Change you mind concept Myrtle Beach or you'll lose out in the near futuristic concept of how you "Could have been that's conceptual city that made a...

I can't stand this place. Negative stars if I could. Pay to park only to have to walk over half mile back to the event center. Then another half mile to the awards center way in the back. Do yourself a favor and park across the road past the Children's Museum. You gonna walk the same distance. Might as well save the money. We have to come here for cheer events often like 2 times a year. We go to A LOT of event centers and this one is just horrid. Half the time the sewer smell out front makes you want to vomit. I mean at least one out of the 3 days, you're going to smell it. Guaranteed. Oh then let's talk about the "event police". They might as well be carrying a real badge the way they treat people. There is absolutely no seating around the breezeway to handle the volume of people associated with a cheer event. I don't know if they have meeting rooms to speak of so everyone is out in the breezeway sprawled out like a pack of seals or walruses at the ocean. You can't walk around the place to get to your required destination. Event staff won't do anything about that but let them catch you with a McDonald's cup and burger, you might get removed from the property. Can't let the event center lose any money on their $15 per person lunch. No chairs allowed in the breezeway and if you never been to a cheer event, you can't set inside for long as the music level is so loud. Your left either standing outside in the cold o sweltering heat or like a pack of sardines in the breezeway. Food is insanely overpriced...

A 250,000 sq. ft convention center is one of the largest on the East coast, and our exhibit hall is 100,800 square-foot, column-free and is divisible into three sections. Exhibit Hall C features telescopic seating for 2,500 plus making it ideal for general sessions and large assemblies. Thirty-five foot ceilings in the exhibit hall can accommodate most any exhibit or production company's needs. Eleven dedicated docks and drive in access to each hall. Meanwhile, our 17,000-square-foot ballroom is a showcase of design and functionality, hosting spectacular catered presentations running the gamut from breakfasts to seven-course extravaganzas. Whatever your agenda, our ballroom's flexibility and beauty breaks the old rules of how convention center ballrooms should be. Additionally, there are 17 functional meeting rooms for breakout sessions for up to 200 people theater seating. Our lush 30,000 square-foot Events Plaza landscape is a unique space great for receptions, oyster roasts, barbecues and other outdoor activities. The 402-room Sheraton Myrtle Beach Hotel is adjacent making everything under one roof.

I want to give 5 stars but I have a few issues. This place is really nice! They can handle big crowds with ease. There is plenty of parking. Depending on the event, you may walk awhile. The concessions are expensive but, that is expected at a convention center. My biggest issue is the smoking area. There isn’t one. So as soon as you walk out, boom, you get hit with cigarette smoke. We were here for a cheer competition and I can not understand why they allow smoking anywhere outside the building. My girls were practicing outside along with 200+ girls and people smoking everywhere. Lots of complaints there. Designate a smoking area away from the building. The escalators were not working and I did see elders having trouble walking up them. Other than that it was a really nice place. Security is good. It seems to be managed well. I will come back and highly recommend coming here. Just a few issues that can be corrected easily and it’s 5 star for sure.

A Wonderful Convention Experience with Room to Improve on Food The Myrtle Beach Convention Center is truly an amazing venue. My church organization, the United Pentecostal Council Assemblies of God, hosted a 5-day convention there, and the experience was awesome from start to finish. The staff was incredibly accommodating, and the facility was clean, spacious, and well-maintained — everything ran smoothly and professionally. One note of honesty: while the center itself is top-notch, the on-site food options left a bit to be desired. With so many fantastic restaurants located nearby in the heart of Myrtle Beach, I’d highly recommend stepping out to enjoy some of the local cuisine during your visit. All in all, the convention center is on point — an excellent place for large gatherings, and we were grateful to have had such a successful event there. Looking forward to coming back!
