We booked through Airbnb. Whoever took the photos deserves an award because they strategically snapped photos making this place look amazing. Needless to say, it was horrible! I’ll start with parking - parking deck is across the street and you might be lucky to find a tight spot next to the hotel. There were quite a few sketchy people hanging around as well.

The hotel/airbnb appears run down from the outside. We were on the 6th floor. Elevators were pretty fast, although smelled. Walking into the room, the main bedroom is street facing. Noise from neighbors was pretty bad however the street noise (even during bike week) wasn’t unbearable. The tile floors looked disgusting. Wear your shoes inside. The bathroom is across from your “kitchen”. The kitchen is nothing like the glorious “culinary experience” they advertised. Cheap Walmart dishes, a refrigerator and stove from the 1970s, rust included and very poorly stocked. There is also no dishwasher! I assume they just rinse the dishes or trust whoever left to wash them? There is a DG down the street where you can pick up some bleach.

Across from the kitchen is the bath. If you have a lot of bathroom items, just leave those in the kitchen because there is no room on the counter for makeup AND a toothbrush. It’s one or the other, can’t be both. The jetted tub I’m pretty sure was pulled from an old mobile home. Better be careful stepping in and out! Water pressure and hot water were good. The corners of the bathroom looked gross.

The living area was sparse. Nice large tv but they have very limited channels. We never could figure out the “smart tv”. There is a Murphy bed and pull out sofa. The view is amazing but the pool noise and adjoining balcony noise drowns out the sounds of the ocean.

Now I’m not a weed smoker but I’m pretty sure I’d fail a drug test based on the amount of second hand weed smoke wafting around from the balconies. At one point, I’m pretty sure I had the munchies. Outdoor chairs sit exactly at eye level of the railing. If you’re 5’4, be prepared to contort your neck to see between the railings.

I know we are at the beach, and humidity is a thing but when the toilet paper, beds and sofa even feel wet, there is clearly a problem. Towels hung inside never really dried. Running the ac didn’t help either.

Overall, I’d give this place 2 stars….actually make that one star - a massive “palmetto bug” just met me in the hallway to say hello. 👋 🪳 I can’t wait to go home. We surely...

Absolutely the worst place you could stay in Myrtle Beach. We went for a family overnight stay and decided to check rates with them because they had vacancies and now I know why. They said they had a newly renovated room for us at around $300 a night so I decided to check with Travago and found same room for about $100 cheaper through them. So we went ahead and booked room and went back inside to make sure everything was good. Immediately the clerk had an attitude and demanded to know what proce we paid online. We didn't tell her and she said since it was so early she couldn't give us a room but would call asap. Finally after a few hours my husband goes to check on room and she says she can't give us the room she had earlier quoted to us. We went inside the room and it was horrible looking and smelled terrible and wet. We asked for a different room and was told we got the last one and sorry. We thought it was strange since early that morning we were told they had plenty of rooms available. The patio was falling with chunks of concrete on the chairs and table. The bathroom was a nightmare and not enough towels for three people. We called for more towels and was told we had to come and get them ourselves and hung up. Crack under door that we had to stuff a beach towel under it. We didn't even sleep under the covers it was so bad . The next morning we couldn't wait to get out quick enough and was told that housekeeping was not available until later in the day and that without them to check the room we may not get back a deposit you have to make when you check in. We informed them that we had video of the room and how it looked and we would keep calling to make sure we receive our deposit back. Finally after calling them several times and being ignored they finally gave us back our deposit after 5 days. I have never seen anything like it ever. We feel we were treated badly because we booked with another agency and not through them so they gave us the old crapper. Save your money and go somewhere else. Very disappointed and looks bad for...

HOUSEKEEPING STOLE FROM ME 9/6/2014...I stayed at the main tower of the hotel. After walking from the Dollar General and a few other stores for some extra Beach supplies I went directly to my room to meet my family. I opened my wallet removed my key and unlocked the door. I put the key back into my wallet and set my purse on the dresser. About 2 minutes later Housekeeping (I want disclose her name) but we will say "E" came. I asked for a bag to get rid of old towels in order to get new ones. My mom wanted the trash changed so we offered to do it so she would not have to come inside. She came in anyway which was not an overly huge issue until she started changing trash where there was NOT a trash can. I was closer than she thought so I knew something was off!! I immediately moved my purse and went through it right in front of her. My coach wallet was missing (I just had it 2 minutes prior). My family and I tore the room apart while "E" nervously rambled about not liking her job and trying to exit the room. We decided that we wanted to look through our trash before making a big accusation but she conveniently threw everything down the chute that was lined up against the walls. We called the front desk immediately and I walked over there because I didn't come from NC to have anyone try to steal from me right in front of my face. Management immediately had her corned off. Maintenance and Housekeeping supervisors dug through bags. Finally, maintenance found my dirty coach wallet minus my cash $40 (I had proof that it was just debited). It’s not that much but it was my children’s money that I work hard daily for! They said that she would be terminated, but who knows because they never followed up with me. I called last week and Hotel manager never called back after speaking with his assistant!!! Poor service ruined everything that I liked about the resort. I will not take my business back and hopefully no one else has to worry about their things being stolen in the "safety" of...

Not a huge fan of this resort. We stayed in an Airbnb in the middle building. We had a great view of the ocean, beach, and city. The walkway outside of our room had a great view for the Broadway at the Beach fireworks. However, this little walkway is often littered with scam coupons that people slip in the cracks of the doors. We had a total of 21 things that had been slipped through our door by the end of our six day stay. There is a nice pool and lazy river, and they also provide beach chairs in a little garden area between the pools and beach. It is in a convenient location and there are many walkable places nearby. However, the location is very noisy. Between other guests, people driving by with music, and people walking below, there is little peace and quiet. Lots of parking available in the side lot and in the garage (across the street). There are many access points to the beach, one of which is a public access, which means the beach can get crowded. The little showers on the beach access walkways do not work well, so if you want to wash sand off before heading to your room, you have to go in the pool area to use that shower. The elevators are a little iffy, and when we checked in, only two of the three were working. We had to wait forever with our luggage to get an elevator. They thankfully had the third elevator fixed first thing Monday morning. They do not have many luggage carts, so if a lot of people are arriving at the same time, you have to wait for a while to get a cart or take trips with as much as you can carry. The area where the trash chute is stinks badly and is right next to the stairs, so the stairs stink as well. People unfortunately don’t read the signs with the trash door code on them, so a lot of people just set their trash outside of the door. I would recommend staying at this hotel for the views. The rooms are pretty small, but if you have only a few people staying, it’s not that big of a deal.

The place shouldn't be called beach resort, it's far from a resort. The place was dirty, smelling. I was in room 419 from Friday July 12-16. Bathroom was dirty, floor and there was no bath mat provided to step on after shower. I saw coach roaches at the hotel, talk about traumatizing. Was very challenging to get towels delivered, was told, not enough staff, which should be my concern if I am getting charged full price. The $251/ night is too high for a dirty place like that. I asked for towels from one of the housekeeping staff, was told to put dirty towels outside the door and automatically they would provide clean and take dirty ones out. Never happened, called several times, not to mention the dirty towels we had placed out side the door , on the dirty floor because there was no trash bags to place them in , remained there alongside trash bag for couple days, even though we had called. Steps leading in and out were in bad shape, posing safety issues at the site. One can easily trip, fall and get injured due to negligence. Makes me wonder if there are staff who go around checking the premises. Some staff I observed were smoking cigarettes while vacuuming , causing bad , and unpleasant smell. I had headaches due to cigarette smell, not a good experience at all. This hotel needs demolished, rebuilt, false advertisement of the boardwalk beach resort.
