Beautiful resort hotel in Myrtle Beach that has beachfront/oceanfront views. Conveniently located at Ocean Blvd and just a few blocks from the Sky Wheel, All other attractions, Restaurant, Bars and Convention center. 10 plus minutes drive to Barefoot Landing, 4 minutes to Broadway at the Beach. The Hotel shares the same building with Courtyard Marriott, Both Marriott brands have the same oceanfront room. The Springhill suites gets complementary breakfast while the Courtyard doesn't. All amenities, facilities, parking, pool and lazy river are shared the only difference is the price and breakfast. I will explain the breakfast later. Front desk staff are so friendly and helpful. Special mention to Nidia & Brian who made our week stay great. We had to move 3 times due to a slight reservation change, went from 2 queen beds for 3 days to a king with sofa for a day then back a 2 queen for 3 days. Although we had to move but the move gave us opportunities to stay in different floors and rooms. The Breakers resort is next door, it's roof levels with the 15th floor thus partially obstructs your northern views in rooms 1601, 1602, 1603, 1604, and all rooms below. The 05, 06 and 07 rooms are perfect specially on the 18th and up to the 26. Rooms gives you views of the pool then dunes then sand and the beach. The higher to go you only see some sand or the beach then the ocean unless you look straight down. Depends on preference, for me I like seeing the view of some sand then ocean. Mid floors like 6 to 12 and on room numbers 05, 06, 07. They have a Bistro restaurant, Bar and Starbucks, onsite and across the street opening and closing times varies, a 24 hr guest market. There's a Coors Light bar at the lobby then 21 & Ocean balcony bar at the 2nd floor which opens 4pm to 9pm. Guest pay laundry fitness center in the 2nd floor. Breakfast for Springhill Suites guest at the 2nd floor.
Parking is on a covered deck across the street with 8 levels with the top un-covered. Parking is tight so if you're driving an extended bed pick up or suburban then prepare to back up and go forward when turning specially when another vehicle is approaching. On sold out days the parking lot easily gets full since there are 4 Breakers resort hotels around Courtyard/Springhill suites. The Breakers has the franchise for the 2 brands in Myrtle Beach which allows breakers guest to park in the Courtyard/Springhill parking lot. Not to worry cause you can park in the 2 level lot behind the main parking which is the Breakers overflow parking lot. Or park in. Any Breakers assigned lot.
The Lazy river pool is located next door in the Breakers resort, as mentioned they are owned by the same management company and share not only the parking lots but the pool too. Wristbands required to enter the pool. There is the main pool at the Courtyard/Springhill suites since staff don't heavily enforce it, Young kids play and swim there, then there is the Lazy river for everyone and the water slide and splash pad. There's a small hot tub then a bigger star shaped. A small splash pad with mushroom like water umbrella and a main adult pool for the Breakers. A total of 7 pool and tubs.
Breakfast: Daily complementary breakfast was offered, I was there for a week and you get assorted muffins, bagels, waffles, cereal, juices, milk, yogurt, coffee, for the hot food scrambled eggs, turkey patties and pork sausage patties, during Wednesday and Friday they substitute the pork sausage patties with bacon. They have boiled eggs but you have to ask the breakfast attendant and they will give it to you from the kitchen.
If you can't find a luggage cart in the hotel, just go next door to the Breakers and you will see carts also. Most of the time carts are left in the...

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From the moment we pulled into the covered porte cochère, we knew we’d picked the right spot for a beach getaway. The lobby feels fresh and airy, but the real showstopper is a wall of windows framing the Atlantic like a postcard. Check-in was quick, and every team member greeted us with a genuine smile and a “Welcome to the beach!”—the perfect start to vacation mode.
Room & Ocean Views Our suite was immaculate, thoughtfully laid out, and best of all it came with a private balcony that practically floats over the shoreline. Waking up to a cotton-candy sunrise and the sound of waves rolling in is something I’ll keep replaying in my mind until the next visit. At night, we left the balcony door cracked to let the ocean breeze drift in—absolute serenity.
Pool & Outdoor Spaces The pool deck is a slice of paradise. There’s a sparkling infinity-style pool that seems to spill right into the sea, plus a separate splash area for kids and plenty of loungers for adults who just want to soak up the sun. I also loved the fire pits near dusk; they’re perfect for winding down with a drink while the sky turns pink.
Service Hospitality here feels effortless. From housekeeping to the front desk to the smiling attendant who offered extra towels by the pool, everyone treated us as if we were long-time friends returning home. I even saw a front-desk associate come outside to snap family photos for a couple celebrating an anniversary—such thoughtful touches set this hotel apart.
Breakfast Morning starts with a complimentary hot breakfast buffet that goes way beyond continental. Fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, oatmeal with a toppings bar, fresh fruit, and little jars of yogurt parfaits kept everyone in our group happy. Bonus points for the waffle station and plenty of shaded outdoor seating so we could sip coffee while watching pelicans glide over the surf.
Final Thoughts Location right on the sand, spotless rooms with dreamy ocean views, standout pool area, and service that feels straight from a five-star resort. SpringHill Suites Myrtle Beach over-delivered at every turn. If you’re looking for a relaxing coastal escape with all the comforts of home (and then some), put this hotel at the top of your list. We’re already...

My mom and I take an annual birthday trip to Myrtle Beach, and after trying a different location, the Marriott became our favorite in 2023 — and now it’s the only place we stay.
The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean, cozy, and well-kept. The location is perfect — right on the beach, close to everything, and convenient whether you want to relax or explore.
We start every morning in the lazy river (our favorite tradition), and then spend most of the day between the pool and the beach. It’s a peaceful routine we truly enjoy. There’s a lot we love about this place, but there are some things that could be better.
The on-site convenience store is a great idea in theory, but it’s rarely stocked. There was no coffee, milk, or stirrers available for most of our stay. The café/barista bar is helpful when open, but the hours change constantly, so getting a reliable cup of coffee meant walking across the street most mornings — not ideal.
One of our biggest frustrations is the lack of supervision at the lazy river. Despite multiple signs saying “no swimming, diving, or jumping,” it’s often filled with unsupervised kids doing just that. Within minutes of opening, it goes from peaceful to chaotic, which ruins the relaxing atmosphere — especially when kids are jumping in, swimming under floats, or bumping into people. It would make a big difference if staff actually enforced the posted rules.
Cleanliness in that area could be improved too — we saw mold on the walls and even trash floating in the water. It really took away from the otherwise beautiful setting.
Also, while more lounge chairs were added this year (a huge plus!), the overflow seating area is in a patch of dirt. Walking through mud after swimming isn’t pleasant, and it’s hard to enjoy food there with ants and small jumping spiders appearing at the first crumb. Some sand or sod in that area would really help.
All that said, we love this resort. It’s become a core part of our annual tradition. With just a few improvements — especially better pool area monitoring and cleaner, more comfortable lounge spaces — it could easily become a...
