Bluegreen Carolina Grande — Hotel in Myrtle Beach

The elevator was broken and caused us to constantly walk up and down 10 to 14 flights!!! Elevators no air, no freight Elevators for workers who had to wait 40 min to 1+ hours to get on this past week! It's very upsetting when u have to carry a 3.5 year old up or down 10 to 14 flights. Caused us to be late for events ( the reason why we were here) because we had no reliable elevator. It remained broken until late Tuesday night!! Even one guest stayed on the elevator for 1 hour trying to help the pool towel worker to get on! People were sooo frustrated, and it was embarrassing! Especially when we were able to go to the Hilton .4 miles away, and they have 6 beautiful Elevators, full air, and just gorgeous!! We didn't want any of the 22 people here to even come to our timeshare or rooms!!

It took us 2 days jist to get a remote. The one in the primary bedroom was gone! I couldn't hang up my clothes, since we were in a handicap room because they all would be hanging on yhe floor...so I had to iron my various outfits all over again due to the inconvenience by BGreen! Again, waisted time!!!!

The other garage they recommended has barely any lights!!! That's so dangerous, too! Exit signs mostly!

Other issue... They booked my family of 5 in a handicap room, which was a very bad setup for my family!! No upgrades, movement, nothing. The handicap shower set up cause water to run all over our floor and had to use towels to try to block the water. We had no vanity, instead a 10" w small cabinet...sooo upset!!

The location was good Folks spoke to us, greeted us, tried to help, and were friendly... but nothing.

Second time coming to Myrtle Beach at BG property and not being happy with the money we spend monthly!!! The last location off the strip had 10000000 roaches outside all over the doors, elevators, sidewalks, my kids were freaking out, and my family is from NOLA! When we chatted, they were like, "Oh, you mean Palmetto bugs? Yep, Roaches!!! The furniture was from the early 1990s and had stains and was so old and too much wicker! It's...

So many mixed feelings.

Make sure you are on the top 3 floors to enjoy the view. Otherwise you are too low to see the beach. The 3 bedroom room have the best view if that is an option for you.

Had an absolute miserable time with the smoking. Apparently smoking IS permitted right outside your room and it comes in like someone was smoking in your room. We complained 3 nights in a row due to this and they said there was nothing they could do.

Internet is terrible and useless. Don't bother bringing work with you, you will not be able to get it done.

They do have washer and dryers. This is great to take home clean clothes rather than have loads of laundry to do after vacation. It can also reduce the number of articles of clothing needed. Keep in mind they are small.

They also provide all the toiletries, kitchen supplies, etc and will provide additional stuff upon request. This was nice.

The timeshare presentation wasnt too bad. They have a good thing going but it's expensive. I won't comment more on that. I will let you decide what works...

Beautiful place to stay. Gorgeous view from the 17th floor balcony of the ocean. View from bedroom was very nice as well. You could see Broadway at Beach. Area was perfect. Not directly on the boardwalk so at night it wasn't crazy or loud, but the boardwalk was within walking distance. Extremely clean. We were in a 1 bedroom which was very spacious. The only issues were the table in front of the couch was very heavy so when moving it so we could use the sofa bed it was a task. Lol The other major issue was parking. We had 2 vehicles and one of our passes was for over flow parking which was in the parking garage behind the Carolina Grande, no big deal. Our pass was for the actual parking garage. Very small parking spaces, and a lot being assigned to compact cars only. Last night there we had to park in over flow parking as there were no parking spots left. Very tiny parking garage for such a big place. Always had issues parking any time we would have to leave and come back. All in all would def stay here again as it was just a perfect area and very...
