Truly traumatizing experience for my dog and myself. Came in for a simple exam and vaccines, the front staff were very nice. The fantastic technician took him back for his other tests and nail trim, they gave no complaints as to his behavior, just that he was excited and a little hyper. Things were fine until the vet came in. Apparently, their method of restraint is the use of food (if you understand animal behavior, laying food in front of any dog while examining him and giving shots is not ideal for the handler). Naturally, my dog noticeably tensed up and was completely opposite of when we first arrived. The vet then proceeded to put more treats on the floor, and then tries to pull his head up to look at his face. He showed teeth, and she then threw herself against the wall, yelling about how bad he was. She then had the technician wrestle my already stressed dog into a muzzle. After being unsuccessful, they decided my dog was too aggressive for the rest of the visit. They nonchalantly told me that in order to be seen again, I have to sedate him. I didn’t even get everything I needed from this visit. To top it off, they made me leave through the back, embarrassed, and come through the front alone to pay. Do not bring your pets here. This vet clearly has no regard for proper and professional handling of animals, nor the spectrum of behavior they live on. They will label a nervous dog as aggressive and...
Read moreAfter speaking with someone on the phone multiple times about getting worm medicine for my cats, I go in and the office manager can't recall talking to me over the phone though she says it was her. Then she suddenly remembers speaking with me and starts asking me questions as if I am ignorant. I explained to her it looked like worms, so she asks do you even know what worms look like? I had to explain to her several times that I've dealt with animals with worms before and only after 10 or 15 minutes of this does she agree to give me the worm medicine. And I was already upset because I has been there for 10 min prior to her even speaking to me. I was at the counter and she is just looking at me, then looking at the computer she is sitting at. Then she'd look back at me just to turn back to her computer. Then another employee walks in from lunch and she yells at her to send another employee to come see her then turns around and scolds and yells at this woman for a good 5 minutes or so. IN FRONT OF ME. A customer! I will never go...
Read moreDon't Bother here. I brought my puppy to this vet and the first time was great, they got all her medical info from me and scheduled a shot for a month later. the second visit comes and they did not even take me back to a room with her, they just took her back there and I waited in the front while they went back and forth asking me for all her medical info again saying they didn't have anything from the last visit, so I emailed my puppy's vaccine info and medical history to them and they come back saying they didn't look at my email (that they asked for prior) before giving her the WRONG vaccine. all they said was "oh it wont hurt her" while proceeding to try to CHARGE me for this shot she had already previously had. If I could give 0 stars I would. worst thing is they said during the first visit this "puppy plan" I bought would cover her first visit, fecal, and vaccines, which is why I took her there in the first place, but this second appointment comes and immunizations weren't covered under this bogus...
