Forbes Candies & Ice Cream Shack — Attraction in Nags Head

Would love to leave a lower review if I could. Drove out of our way just so we could come here. Got here at 840 pm... hours online and on the door say they don't close until 1000 pm. All doors locked when we show up. 2 younger girls inside clearly see that we are trying to get in. We went to multiple doors trying to see what the issue was. Both girls started pointing and laughing at us and wouldn't come to the door. We were here for our daughter's birthday and it absolutely ruined our evening.

Edit. Literally 10 minutes after we were laughed at and denied entry a third young lady showed up. Knocked on the windows and started making gesture at them indicating they were clearly friends. She was allowed in and they re locked the doors. The owners should probably look into this behavior. We were a group of six looking to buy ice cream...

I walked in for a soda while on the phone with my husband and the rude woman behind the register told me she would not serve me unless I got off of the phone. She then continued to tell me she wouldn’t let me buy the soda until I gave her my full attention and put down my phone. RUDEST SERVICE EVER!!! My family and I came in for some ice cream around 9pm and there were two young ladies working....one blonde and one brunette. They were RUDE not just to us but to other customers ahead of us. Huffing and puffing about serving customers and rolling their eyes. NEVER will return to this location.
