Grocery Outlet — Attraction in Napa

Good prices but unfortunately the staff is very judgmental. A friend of mine was heavily gossiped, branded and his name was ruined. He's a good man, good heart too. Awhile back He'd brought back a 6 pack of protein drinks that was about 5.99$. Well thr young female cashier scanned each of the six bottles and handed him 47$. She even argued with him after he told her she'd made a 40$ mistake. He handed back the money in spite of being almost flat broke. She called the maneger over and the manager says "you handed him 47$?!" The manager thanked my friends honesty hut that didn't matter much, he'd also had purchased over 175$ in blankets, fruits, water and canned meat for the homeless at the park and ride. None of tbis mattered. These people still see my friend as some bad guy. He just has a bad reputation from gossip and these people along with many others believe in this childish gossip. I know my friend he's a good man and it's too bad hes being treated like this. He's made a few mistakes but who hasn't.. just treat him with the respect he gives...

I do like Grocery Outlet,but I repeatedly get over charged on items. And when I do go to talk to management,I am usually refunded,but I still have an issue with how they mishandle it. Mind you I'm not sure if this GO's policy or not 100%. To repeatedly be overcharged,sent to the other location if I bought it there instead of it being handled with proofs at any GO as I would w/ Safeway, target,etc whether same location or not. This is the 8 th or so time I've been overcharged & sometimes I just don't want to deal w/ it bc of the hassle. I have already reported it to ways & means since I have recommended often that this could cause issues for the corporation since 8+ x in less than a yr w/ 1 person this is obviously not an isolated incident & their attitude leaves much...

Okay this crew is great. They always help if you cant find something, and when they don't know, they find who does.

They have mad skills with the packing of groceries; no squished tomatoes! Management is friendly and informative, clearly competent, and while the effort shows, nobody is confused about expiration dates or what to do about spills- While prices are steadily good.. produce choices remain numerous, as are the staff members -which helps in the holiday rush!
