Starbucks — Restaurant in Napa

The Redwood Plaza Starbucks in Napa is one of the two larger stores out of the five the company has in Napa. It was open for mobile pick up during the entire pandemic even without a drive-through. The staff are warm and friendly and I like the store manager. That being said, I'm confused about the District Manager and Store Manager vision for customer service at this location. It is well known Starbucks became known for its comfortable homey feeling in the seating areas of its stores. So much so that people would stay there all day causing comedians to talk about it. However, for some reason, the company decided to leave most of its Napa stores unchanged. The Redwood Plaza store had all its furniture replaced with hard uncomfortable wooden tables and chairs reminding me of my high school cafeteria. It was so bare bones I'm surprised anyone stayed to sit and partake. Now, due to the pandemic there is no indoor seating. Every other Starbucks in Napa leaves their furniture outside and set up in marked off areas. This Starbucks pulls their furniture inside. This is Napa. The worst starbucks I have ever visited. Visited Napa Valley in the labor day weekend and tried to get a cup of latte here. The cashier charged me without passing the order. I kept waiting there for 20 minutes. I then asked what happened. The prepared staff said there is no order with my name and she didn't even try to confirm with cashier to correct the mistake. The cashier just ignored me . The manager(I guess who she is) refunded my money after I asking (I used starbucks member card to pay so that it would be extremely easy to track the order. But they only did that when I asked to refund). After half hour waiting, I went out the starbucks without a coffee on my hand. Through all those communications, no one apologizes.
