We stopped by yesterday because my dear friend and Napa native has been interested in becoming a member of their wine club for some time. We walked in around 2pm, it was fairly quiet and asked to do a tasting. We were told they were booked for the rest of the day. But they could serve us by the glass. It happens, Napa can get busy on the weekends so we opted for a glass and sat outside. Our server said they would be out to check on us, but never did. The wine wasn’t great. They served us one of the best chardonnays either of us ever had, and it seems to be a hit amongst everybody, whether they like chardonnay or not. The pinot noirs were solid across the board; all had their own unique character, but "The Corners" was the one I'll remember for the longest. Really, they were all very good, and I'd happily have any of them again. Don't overlook WALT when you're combing through all the winery...
