Live Fire Pizza — Restaurant in Napa

How I ended up with a 3 star review 4 stars for the pizza flavor- delicious 2/3 for the staffs obliviousness 2 for the staff advertising heaters and seats were available when they were not. 3 stars for the price of the pizza. 4 stars for the wait time. They were fast!

The pizza was thin, small but loaded with great flavors and ingredients! I asked the staff about seating because it was cold outside. They said, we could sit at the bar. The staff member did not look up to see there were not enough seats at the bar. Then the staff said we have heaters outside you could sit under. We told the staff two heaters were off, could you please turn them on for us. Two of the staff members came outside, when one was about to turn it on, the other said those two heaters are broken. You have to sit under the other two heaters. Again, the staff was oblivious, the heaters were for individual tables and were both being taken by other customers. Overall, i was unsatisfied with their lack of being aware of their customers needs and stating things not available. I will not be returning here. Props to the Chef for the pizza tho, but...

Stopped here after just driving into Napa from LA. We were tired, thirsty (for wine, of course) and ready for food. We walked around oxbow market and loved the look of the food others were having. So we walked back round and took a seat. We were immediately greeted by Erica, who was so friendly towards us and served us straight away. We ordered drinks first and was able to browse the menu. The wine was delicious and ordered our 2nd glass? Then ordered food. We got chatting to a couple next to us, as the seating arrangements allow this, which we liked. We ordered 4 of the “small” appetisers, they were huge. We had, olives, calamari, meatballs and the sprouts. Omg each dish was just amazing. The sprouts however definitely require a special mention. I could eat them every day of the week. Big shout out too, to Michael, who was clearing up and began chatting to us. What a lovely guy. Honestly, I think we will be back here as it has been the best food and drink I’ve had on our holiday so far....

This location has sooo much potential, it is a shame to see it marred by poor service. I ordered a pizza and glass of wine on a slow evening, and the service could not have been much worse. Despite the significant tip I paid when ordering, the cashier never looked at me, and appeared annoyed to be disrupted from talking to her friend at the bar area. The bar area server didn’t serve the wine for about 10 min, and my water request had to be made three times. I was the only customer at the bar, and the bar server seemed annoyed I was there, and did not speak to me once. I felt completely unwelcome. The food quality was acceptable for the price, my order was made properly, and the crust was appropriate for the style of pizza. Would not recommend, and would not return. There are so many other great options in Oxbow where the service is excellent, and food...
