Read moreEverything was great until we tried to get our wine. We went at 630 they were closed. Sign on window said 7. Cam said 7. Website said 7. Since we were leaving we left a VM to please ship with contact info. No call back in two days so we called. They said busy with customers. Would get back to us. Never did. We called two days later and got the same story. "Sorry short staffed will call you back. Again no call. We called again. Same story keep saying they would call us back. But in a week no call back. We texted and emails many times. After 12 days they finally called and said wine was shipped but it had not been. Garrett was very rude on the phone. Blaming us for not getting the wine. And how He had charged us for the wrong thing. But was going to fix it as the owner. I asked him to just refund our money. He was calling from his cell phone and the connection was very bad. The call got dropped. He called back and I was on the other line at work. He left a very rude VM message. That if we needed to call or needed anything to Not call Him. He then sent some texts saying he was from Napa and would tell all the people he knew about us. I wish he would. We had our first visit to Napa and had a wonderful expieriance with everyone except The Wine Theft. What a fitting name. All the other wine we purchased was delivered to us in WA State within days. It had been 12 days and the Wine Theft had not even shipped...
Read moreTerrible experience! I stopped in on Sat, 9/8. There was one small group of people hanging out at a table and the one host was at the far end of the bar talking to the only other person there.
The host (short, Hispanic looking guy who was very nice to my group a couple of years ago) never even said hello. There were 2 menus on the bat and I picked one up. He said they were for someone else and then grudgingly came over, handed me a menu and asked what I wanted to taste. I mentioned the 7th Letter- a great red blend that I had purchased before. He said they didn't have it. I asked if they had it to purchase even if not to taste. He said no.
He asked me what I was interested in and I said maybe something similar. He said he didn't have anything like that. And stood there and just looked at me. So I left.
For Heaven's sake- this is a wine tasting room representing several vintners and you don't have anything to suggest!??
I went next door to Mark Herold and had a great tasting and then I found Feast It Forward just around the corner. Great place, lots of people having a good time, super friendly staff and great wine. I bought half a case.
Needless to say, I will not be going back...
