Came in and talked to Eric about getting my fiancĂ©âs ring repaired in time for her birthday celebration. Really ran me through everything, he was personable and made it seem like this was going to be nothing to worry about. And guaranteed me it would come out great.
However there were a couple complications on where this business dropped the ball. Eric promised he would have the ring done on the 3rd of February this year and I dropped the ring off a week ahead of that date. The third arrived and I never received a phone call or even a message of communication about the subject. So I wasted time, money, and gasoline to get down to the shop and basically be told that itâs âstill in the shop. When questioned 2 days later on why the ring wasnât done in time another associate exclaimed that it was because the person doing the work wasnât in that day.
If there is ever a reason that you cannot complete my repair, you should contact the customer, instead I was embarrassed by showing up to a celebration empty handed and even embarrassed by showing up and wasting my time by even going down to the store and have my jewelry that Iâve spent good hard earned money on be overlooked, this being said the repair did come out okay⊠but the service was pretty shocking. Was offered a voucher for flowers and chocolate but declined because I donât need to take useless trip to waste my time.

   Read moreI had ordered a watch for my fiancĂ© for his birthday and went to go pick it up (my first time at Dayâs Jewelers) and they had ordered the womenâs version of the watch by accident but ended up having the menâs version in store which was good because his birthday was only days away! Once I got to the counter they offered to clean my engagement ring for free (a ring my now fiancĂ© got for me at a different jewelry store). I had mentioned to the guy ringing me up that it had a mark on it from being resized and inquired if that could get cleaned off with a polishing. He said it would need to be sent away and that the mark actually wasnât that bad. He then handed it off to an associate in the back to finish getting cleaned. This is where the problem started. She started taking about the ring telling me I needed to return it because it was starting to yellow and that if she were me she take it back to the store. I was shocked because she didnât seem to realize that mark was from the resizing; someone who works at a jeweler should probably know what that looks like. It was a very odd way to interact with a new customer and left me feeling off when I left. I normally donât do reviews but I felt like I had to. Iâm sure Dayâs Jewelers is a fine store and they definitely have a nice selection of rings, watches, and other jewelryâŠ. But I most certainly wonât...

I was out with my mom looking for the perfect wedding band to complement my engagement ring, but didnât know what that was so it became a day of hunting. We had gone to a couple of other stores prior to here but hadnât found it. Iâm a person thatâs also big on âthe right vibeâ and I hadnât found that either. We walked in to Dayâs and were greeted by the manager, Eric, who was very laid back but attentive to the subtle likes and dislikes Iâd discovered during my other stops that day. He offered us drinks and a chair, opened up suggestions for styles I may not have considered, and sat patiently while I bounced back and forth between styles. Over walks Chelsea, who is just as awesome. She cleaned my engagement ring (even though I told her it had been done already, she really wanted it to shine) and her experience was obvious. She was patient and let me take my time in choosing the right style. Set up mirrors and had some of her own suggestions. Not once did I feel pressured to pick a ring or even buy one from them if I didnât find the right one. Ultimately I did pick and couldnât have been happier with my experience. I even returned the following day with my fiancĂ© to have him pick his band. Had just as good of an experience the following day and will be using Dayâs for all jewelry needs...
