Update Unfortunately the $2 ticket is no longer here. Fortunately it is now a better place to go and watch a movie! Ticket prices are now $5 child/$7 adult which for seeing a movie is pretty decent price range. If you look at other chains which start with R and have an 'e','g','a' and an 'l' then prices start in the 10 to 13 dollar range for their no frills theater and go up from their. Granted this place does not have the super cool screens and sound system but they are clean and have the nice reclining seats with their latest renovation. The staff members have always been nice but probably over worked at the ticket/concession stand. This area is my only gripe, you buy your ticket and popcorn at the same time. This can lead to lines which can be long at times. My only other semi complaint is the Coke machine, it is one of the machines where you pour your own drink and even though there are currently 3 open, it can take a while with kids/adults who have no clue what they want, I prefer just to have the attendant to pour it and be done! This is to me a time to have less selection and quicker lines. AMC offers a couple of great deals to take advantage of, $5 Tuesdays and a $20 per month 'club' where you can watch 3 movies per week which is definitely great! Check out the other chain and see how far a 20 will take you there. See you at the movies!
Original Review** Not a bad movie place at all. The selling point of this theater is of course the ticket price. A ticket anytime of the day is $2.19 (it was $2, I can live with a 19 cent raise!). So, for me to take my family of 5 to go see a recent release at the local Regalia (not its actual name) would cost for a regular viewing at $12.99 per ticket (as of 4/20/2017) almost $65 BEFORE popcorn and a few drinks. So, by buying 5 tickets for $2.19 it is cheaper than buying 1 ticket at the Regalia (again not its actual name). Do not expect to have all of the snacks that you would have at the local Regalia but they do have great bargains on popcorn and popcorn combos. You can purchase a popcorn bucket that you can refill for a year for a very reasonable price and the drinks are well priced for this type of venue. The theater itself has digital projection and good sound system. The layout is typical mid 80's setup which is fairly flat, with no stadium sitting. You do have a chance of someone taller than you sit in front of you and block your view. But since I have never been to a sold out show here, it is very easy to pick up your stuff and move over. Seats are fairly comfortable and there is a cup holder on the arm rests. The auditoriums are fairly clean and bathrooms are in decent shape. The staff that I have come in contact with are pretty nice with no complaints. There is no external ticket booth and you buy your tickets and refreshments all with the same transaction. The lobby is fairly small so if it is a Friday or Saturday show you could get a bunch of people stacked inside. Even though I do not see any security, I have not seen any unruly kids hanging outside. Overall I would give the place a solid 'A'. It is not the most glamorous place and it is pushing around 30+ years of existence. But, it has a great value and the overall experience is pretty good. If you are looking for the latest and greatest this is not for you. But, if you have a family or just want to catch the afternoon movie without taking a loan, this...

I am a regular customer of 4469 AMC Antioch TN. and situation below was absolutely unacceptable. In addition to viewing movies at my local AMC Theatre on a regular basis, I also stop by and purchase a large (pricey) popcorn every Sunday evening to carry home. I stopped by today, 08-JAN 2023 and made my normal purchase. The cashier did not give me a receipt or ask if I needed one. He seemed to be rushing to give my the popcorn so I took it and buttered it. I then asked for a receipt but the cashier replied, "It is too late and you should have got it when you paid." I then asked to speak to a manager but was refused and instead spoke to Daniel, a Supervisor who was also not concerned with resolving the issue. I explained I just made a purchase of the popcorn I was holding and I needed a receipt. He also told me the cashier should have asked me if needed a receipt and I explained that didn't happen. Daniel stated he was the supervisor, had been working there for five years and advised that the only way he would give me a receipt is to re-charge. This seemed quite shady and suspect as I explained I am only requesting a receipt for what I have already paid for and should not be charged again to obtain a receipt. I again asked to speak to a manager and again refused. Daniel said he would go call his GM. Daniel left and came back shortly.... "definitely not enough time to make a call" and stated quite rudely.... "Your only option is to be re-charged." At this point I stated that is unacceptable and left. This was a disastrous situation, absolutely unnecessary and the customer service is deplorable. I still need a receipt for my purchase and it is unacceptable that these shady practices are being committed but conveniently no management...
Read moreUpdate: why hasn't anyone cleaned the lady's restroom in over an 1hr. The theater is nicer, the prices have gone up, but the bathroom is disgusting. Really!?! Worker sitting right there playing on phone... Ugh! I understand that the theater is in the process of making changes, in which I can attest is well overdue, and appreciated. I do wonder why it took almost 5 minutes before the lights went off during the presentation of the movie? Again, new theater, possibly, new staff or glitch in the system, understood. Now speaking of staff, I bought tics for Player One, but before going into the theater, the manager looked at the tics and told us that the theater was not ready, and that he would get someone to clean it right away. I had no idea at the time that the theater that he (the manger) was talking about was not the one, for Player One. When the young man came out, I asked if this was for Player One, he said no, Player One was in theater 3. The manager says, "Oh, I thought you were here for the Tyler Perry movie?" It threw me off for a second, but I retorted, "Why do you say that, is it because I'm Black, didn't you look at our tickets?" He said dismissively, "Please enjoy your movie." I said, "After a comment like that, I sure hope I can enjoy it." My son said, "Come on Mom." Children can certainly save a moment, because I was ready to get money back, and leave. Sometimes you just can't allow people to steal your joy. I was having a day with my son, so I couldn't allow this man who obviously wasn't thinking, or just assumed, to take this moment from my son and me. And yes, the movie was good, my...
