Donât do business with this guy. He talks a good game just like a used car salesman, once he gets your money he completely shifts gears. He shipped me a 65 year old arch top guitar in what he claimed to be the original chipboard case which it wasnât. Inside a cardboard box with some foam peanuts. When I contacted about the guitar being damaged he argued with me even yelled at me and was so defensive about it that I think itâs likely he knew about the damage before he shipped it. I had to take it to a shop of his choosing making 2 hour and a half round trips even taking a day off work. He did pay $120 for the repair but refused to compensate me for my time or reduce the price since the case wasnât original as advertised. Which he took 10 days to respond to my request. And again on our last conversation he insisted that the damage happened during shipping over and over, so much that Iâm almost sure he knew the guitar had something wrong with it before he shipped it. If you do decide to buy something from him make sure you read his return policy first, itâs ridiculous. I wonât waste any more time on him. Every shop here in St. Louis that Iâve taken the guitar to, including the shop he picked to do the repair all said the same thing. They donât know how this guy stays in business. ...

I have spent the last 35 years searching all over the country for my holy grail Les Paul stopping in at every music store on my travels and playing hundreds of guitars along the way. My epic search finally ended at Blues Vintage about a year ago when Gabe handed me The One. A one off, 2001 Kerry Green Les Paul Standard. WOW! Perfect in every possible way. After a few minutes of negotiation over the value of my trade in, a fair deal was agreed and I walked out with my dream guitar smiling like a Cheshire Cat.
Thank you Gabe! Sincerely, THANK YOU! This is the most beautiful and amazing sounding Les Paul I have ever played and I have never been more pleased or more inspired by...
Read moreI havenât purchased anything here, but I did come in with a couple extremely cool vintage guitars that the owner said he was interested in buying. He proceeded to scour the Internet for the lowest price the guitar has been sold for the last 10 years, and then to tell me all that was âwrongâ with the guitars and had nothing positive to say at all. I was just trying to get an accurate valuation before I decided to sell at that point, but he even insinuated I didnât know the year of my own guitars. So this was my experience as a female guitar player walking into a vintage guitar shop and getting treated like an idiot. Anyway long story short, I had really bad experience and the owner told me about 5 different things but never followed through on them. The âcar salesmanâ reference from the last review was pretty accurate in my opinion. He talked a big talk, but was not reliable and his knowledge of guitars was lacking from my experience here. He acted like I was trying to scam him. I guess thatâs what you...
