Really can't make this up... Me and my folks have went since 2019 and loved it every time till this year. For starters the actors were all clearly done with their jobs and wanted the minimum to do with putting in effort, something majorly important in scare attractions. Walking up to the entrance the greeters had this ability to mumble every word where no one could understand, whatever, then we get inside and the picture guy is literally baked out of his mind can't even turn on the camera. Usually taking pictures on your phone in the rooms for pictures is okay but this year it was prohibited so we go on. Heading for the first attraction we were yelling at the actors as they came up to us attempting to "scare them first". Actors didn't appreciate us doing their jobs better I guess.. so they decide to approach my mother who was chaperoning (I'm 16). This is where things became completely unacceptable. Prior to this a clown guy was spewing something about me being just as ugly as his mask so I should work there or something, again whatever Idc, then they go to my mother and say I need to "lose weight" and that she needs to parent me better as I would get kicked out for yelling. Keep in mind we were out doors, everyone was laughing and screaming, it's a Halloween event. I deeply believe this guy was just offended I didn't get hurt by his bs. Anyway so a random bystander along with the clown and one of the spark sliding actors (you know if you've been). These 3 grown men begin all just straight up harassing my mom, im already in line. So she leaves because she felt unsafe and whether that's dramatic or not 2 workers and a random person approaching a small lady in such a disrespectful way isn't appropriate for any kind of staffing. I was then stopped by the actor with the slide gear who gets right in my face and says we have to leave right now because she isn't here or get her back to the property. I call my mom and find out this whole charade, obviously I became quite defensive and asked if we could open up the fence and step out. The actor refused and said we must go with him. I said I will not. He began arguing with me and repeating the same lines over and over then ending with "im a grown ass man" in reply to me saying he's trying to get in the face of a teenager. Darwin's award buddy, congrats. After this the manager stepped in between us and told him to go before he ended up making a stupid decision in a nutshell. Manager quickly finds out the details of this whole thing and goes and scolds the 2 actors accordingly. She let us skip line aswell. I appreciate being accommodated for such unprofessionalism but this Clown Guy literally just kept on. Not to add the fact there was an equal amount of actors roaming around as there was actually doing there job, like 5. Nashville Nightmare will forever be a hit or miss place but Jesus they hit it out the ball park this year with the miss. My sincerest note is that I hope the higher ups like managers and owner can find much better actors, I love Halloween and love that place. The lack of dedication or spirit in the workers is kinda wild tho. It's a hard job it's not like putting on one scene. If you can't handle basic work exhaustion then become a streamer or something where you can sit on your ass and be a jerk to someone who's paying for that instead of ruining a usually extremely positive and memorable place! (Also id like to mention most if not all actors were very respectful just still a lack of effort this year, which seems to be a trend in this years review......
Read moreDon't waste your money. Seriously. My friends and I bought tickets thinking it was somewhere else because we DEFINITELY didn't want to go here again after our experience 2 years ago. Unfortunately, we realized it too late and so we decided to give it another chance because e had already paid for it.
I will say that it is one of the BEST decorated events, which unfortunately you can't really capture since photos and videos aren't allowed inside the haunts. That's to be expected usually of course, but since this one is really only good for walking through and looking at the amazing decor, I feel like the rules should be different here. No, I didn't even try - I'm a rule follower and I was truly expecting to be scared. Lol 😄 But I was surprised at how few human beings were inside the haunts themselves - less than last time. Only a handful were there to try and scare us, and those that were failed miserably since we could see them a mile away - with the exception of 2. Those 2 were awesome! Gotta give credit where credit is due!!! 😉 Even my friend who gets scared of EVERYTHING usually at these things only faintly squealed a couple times. The 2 who did scare us were really good!!!! But it should have been like that throughout the whole thing for $65..... per person!!!!!!
Then we made the mistake of purchasing the additional "tactile shooting" mission, which is really just where you stand against a wood railing and shoot at 2 men walking slowly in a tiny circle 10 feet from you in a small room for 3 minutes with a plastic gun holding a canister of orbeez that just so happens to jam non stop (or in my case, basically the entire time, to the point that my canister of orbeez was still full when he kicked us out). It was a waste of time and we were so frustrated and of course they don't do refunds even though they knew their stuff wasnt working.
Again, it's decorated really awesome!!! It looks SO COOL! If you like taking a stroll through a well decorated place for $40 - $70, looking at dummies dressed up in scary makeup, then this is for you! But if you want to be scared or get what you paid for, then this...
Read moreOur family went here last night. I bought skip the line tickets costing over $65.00 each on line. Had to pick a time online which was 7:20. Got there at 7:00 and had to wait in a CRAZY CRAZY LONG Line. Just to get wrist bands. The person scanning the tickets could not with her cell phone. Got another workers cell phone and still they would not scan. It took over 20+ minutes to get the tickets scanned. Very frustrating!!!!!! Then went to the line to enter the first attraction. It was so LONG!!!!!!!!! I guess skip the line means NOTHING!!!! Every attraction had LONG LINES!!!! Have not been here in a few years but nothing has changed. Inside was pretty much the same scenes. Just moved a few things around. We were disappointed! It is so unorganized making regular line, fast pass, skip the line and people just buying their tickets there all waiting in the same line. The line went around the building. So stupid and the helpers were so RUDE to everyone. More people outside working then scaring people inside. As we were leaving they have only one exit but, they allow people to drive in there and with the parked cars back there almost blocking the exit and all the people trying to walk out which was almost impossible The pavement was so broken up and rocky a women ahead of us fell and was almost hit by a car. Everything about this place from the moment we got there was truly a NIGHTMARE!!! If you have been here before it is just much of the same. There are other great Halloween haunts out there and much cheaper too!!!!! After reading other BAD reviews I see the owners responding back Thanks for the comments and we will take it into consideration. Some BAD reviews go back for years. I guess they are still taking it into CONSIDERATION!!!!!!! So if your planning to go here Please read the reviews and then you should take it into CONDERATION and GO...
