Although they offer a 1-year warranty on the boots. The warranty process has been impossible to activate. The problem with my boots were simple, the hooks for the laces broke on the boots meaning they can't be tied. And I have so far been given three phone numbers to call for customer service that no one answers. I have gone into the store to try to find someone to talk to about the warranty or warranty process and was told there was nothing that can be done at the store. That there was no customer service to talk to at the store. And was hustled out of the store without being allowed to speak to a manager. That a phone number would have to be called and that's all that could be done. You might as well save your sanity and just buy boots at Walmart. Although they will wear out twice as fast. But two pairs of boots from Walmart will still cost less than one pair of boots from Rocky Boots, And without a warranty there is no advantage to the rocky boots. Not to mention you will get a clean pair of boots twice as often. Please don't mistake me, the boots are not bad boots. The complaint is over the warranty, the customer service, and the general unhelpfulness of the people in the store, and dealing with...
Read moreBought a pair of there "waterproof" snake boots for the line of work I'm in. After 2 months the sile started coming apart and the "waterproof" feature was bo longer. Contacted the company finally after 2 weeks I got a response. After sending in everything but my DNA I never heard a single thing. Thinking it was due to the Covid I was again began reaching out, by this point its been around the 6 month part. I found that email was the most effective way to get anything done with there customer service. Once again I sent everything, pictures (around 8), proof of purchase, and my payment method. They emailed me a shipping label to send the the pair back. It has been over a month now and still no boots have been sent back to me to replace the ones I sent back. The tracking number given doesn't work. I would highly recommend you spend the extra for Redwings or Irish Setters. Never again will I go with Rocky who claim made in USA but they are really...
Read moreUPDATE: With enough persistence, i was able to get customer service to 'make an exception' and provide a replacement pair of boots. No visible defects and they feel comfortable. I haven't had the chance to test them in the field yet. I will adjust my rating once i do to give the most accurate review. Aweful quality. I returned a pair of boots because they weren't stitched properly and coming apart right out of the box. The replacement pair not only had the same defect, but ripped above the heel on both boots after 3 uses and customer service refuses to replace them or return my money. They did invite me to BUY another pair with a discount code - as if i would be foolish enough to pay more money for poorly...
