Incredible, professional, honest Service from Initial contact. Unfortunately, my HVAC system in a new house 2.5 years old continued to have issues 3 summers in a row and culminated in finally blowing the handler motor in July. It was 11pm when this occurred. I called 3 companies including the original installers that should have done all the warranty work. Only Ocean State called back in the morning and scheduled an appt. Randy the technician was incredible as not only did he ID the problem and managed to get the new part and fix the system in a timely manor. He also provided me with the advice needed for the next part. He is my preferred technician! I also asked for a sales person to come out because I had already been seeking estimates to replace the system. (Too long a story to explain not worth the money to try the legal fight with builder or original HVAC company). Ocean State sent Chris DuVall who also was extremely professional and straight forward. He provided initial estimates and recommendations and then came back out to answer more questions. They also were willing to take my particular situation into account with having to replace a basically new system. He did not try to sell me the most expensive or biggest unit. He simply sold me what the house needed. My new 4ton variable system has made a world of a difference in the house. The system is able to maintain a temperature setting even through the heat of the summer. Something the 3ton single stage system in a 2500sqft home couldn’t accomplish in November. Update - 6/15/2022 - it's been 2 years since we had the new A/C system replaced it continues to work great. We just had the A/C unit serviced today and Alex was fantastic with the maintenance check and cleaning. He's very personable and has excellent technical knowledge and information about A/C systems. I highly recommend him and Ocean State Air for any of your cooling or heating needs.

June - 2020 - I recently had to have my entire A/C system replaced since my original A/C system was 20 years old and stopped working. It was going to cost more to repair the old unit and was not worth it. I had 3 different A/C vendors come out and troubleshoot the old system and all of them agreed it needed to be replaced. Out of all the technicians I worked with it was Daniel from Ocean State Air that went above and beyond to check my system and he was extremely knowledgeable and educated me on A/C systems and their inner workings. It was because of him that I chose Ocean State Air to replace my system.

I also want to recognize and thank Wally for working with me to price match my other vendor quotes. I settled on replacing my old Lenox/Trane systems with a matched Carrier Performance series system. Wally was easy to work with and was responsive to my requests and the changes I asked for.

Finally, I cannot thank the installation technicians Sam and John enough for their fantastic installation of the new system. The were both easy to work with and extremely diligent and took great pride in their work. They worked tirelessly until the installation was complete and it looks and works fantastic. Ocean State Air Conditioning & Heating is a reputable, honest, and fairly priced local HVAC business. Our central air conditioning broke in mid-summer. The A/C Doctor, who I've done business with for years, is semi-retired and only does repairs. He told me that the system was beyond repair and needed replacing. He also told me to call and get as many proposals from reputable companies as I could. Calling about a dozen companies and receiving about half as many proposals, only Ocean State came out to look at the job. Then, they quickly gave me an honest proposal with several options. Their prices were tiered with the quality and warranty for the particular systems, each with one price, all inclusive, for a completed job. Some other companies had lower prices at first glance, though there were additional charges for what Ocean State had included.

They told me it may take a couple of days; it was the busiest time of year for any HVAC in Florida. The next morning the technicians arrived and we had cold air by the afternoon! They were polite and left the area cleaner than they found it.

Now, months later, Ocean State scheduled routine cleaning and maintenance with me. The technician, Michael, who promptly came to service the system, is polite and knowledgeable. Michael not only did the routine service but also offered suggestions, relocated the thermostat, and helped me with using the app to control everything from my phone.
