New Bern Art Exhibit — Attraction in New Bern

This exhibit is a must see for anyone traveling to or through New Bern!!! When I was able to view this amazing collection by the artist Egbert Modderman, I thought to myself, this artist is on his way to becoming a present day master, just like the “old masters” whom paintings are displayed and admired through out the world. After finishing his education, which included studying in Florence, Italy, he is on his way to being recognized for his amazing talent!!! In fact, I just heard that on Kings Day in the Netherlands this week, King Willem-Alexander and the Queen Maxima went to see his latest painting which was just unveiled. What a hidden treasure! The New Bern Art Exhibit has a very welcoming and warm environment. The painter Egbert Modderman is extremely talented and beautifully captures Biblical scenes. We even had the pleasure of meeting Egbert. I was particularly taken by his work "Abraham" and "The Good Samaritan". A print of Abraham is proudly displayed in my home.
