I have been coming here for years. I have always loved so much coming here. I rave about this antique mall compared to others in the area, it has been “my favorite”. I have family in town and could not wait to bring them here. We came in and went immediately to the back to use the restroom before shopping. We were standing there waiting for the restroom when we heard a crash. A young couple with a stroller had accidentally knocked over a plate. I helped the man pick it up and I heard a woman yell “something broke, who did this?” He answered her but she couldn’t hear him because again she asked even louder as she pointed at us “who did this?” We said “he answered you already ma’am.” She turned to him with such anger. He was obviously so embarrassed & politely said he would pay for it. She didn’t respond to him, just scolded him because “no strollers were allowed, and he should know that because two signs were (apparently) posted on door.” I told her I didn’t notice a sign either and she became even more angry and hostile. A few other customers hearing and seeing this also said they didn’t notice any signs and she STILL remained so angry in her response to this man & then us. The only thing I heard him say was “I’m so sorry. I will pay for this.” He walked away to pay and she said “let me come to your house and break your things..” that’s when we decided to leave. This man was so apologetic and sweet. She was angry and rude. She extended no grace or kindness even when he immediately agreed to rectify the situation. I will not be coming back to this place & I regret bringing my family in here to witness this hostility at a place I raved so much about. Read more06/04/2025 12-2pm my visit Amazing store and lots of great items. I removed 2 stars for the employees. I needed several things from the case, they acted like it was a big bother. Not friendly, huffing and acted annoyed. They wanted to just sit behind the counter and do nothing but eat their snacks. I'm a big antique buyer and didn't buy everything I wanted because I would have needed to ask them to open about 5 more cases and after the 3rd I was getting annoyed with the unfriendly/unhappy behavior from them. So I can imagine how many vendors are missing out on sales because of the staff. Upon reading other reviews, this has been an ongoing issue for over a year, so possibly nothing will be done... if my friend and I come back and the issue continues, we'll try and get ahold of the owners to make sure they're aware. I've personally watched people's business end up in the toilet because of staff like this. The store, though, is amazing and fun to shop as long as you don't need assistance or ask...
Read moreWas going to get a couple Christmas presents for my parents. Needed assistance. Had to wait in line for assistance to open a case that had something I wanted to get them. Another customer was first ahead of us so we patiently waited of course however when we went up to the counter we told them we needed assistance. Also, needed them to use the keys to open the case For a necklace I wanted to get them. Woman at the counter said “well that’s too bad you’re gonna have to follow her “ very rude and condescending the time. I really wanted to buy something and they were disgusting about it. To top it off the one who had the keys was taking a long time because the other customer was making a huge purchase. I also felt very ignored so I don’t ever wanna come back here again, nor do I even want to take my parents to come over here when they visit. Not Representing your business very well, with snobby...
