Honestly, I don’t think this could even be classified as a latte. It’s more like an explosion of flavors and memories of a midsummer morning at a street cafe in Rome. I watched the baristas efforts and the impressive flawless workflow. She pulled the precisely measured espresso shot. Watching anxiously as the last drop of a 2 oz shot comes out. Carefully milk was added to highly polished frothing mug, ensuring that not a single drop is wasted. The steam wand was placed delicately into the milk and steamed to a precise temperature. Milk is slowly poured into the coffee to bring out the soft bitter notes of the espresso. Looking at the resulting artistic expression, she came to terms with her creation and steps back to admire her work. A slight shrug of her shoulders, a smile fills her face, and she presents the beverage to the customer as to say “Behold this gift of caffeine I present to you from the Great Goddess Caffeina our morning savior”. Absolutely Stellar Service from Jackson and Marlena!

I had the pleasure of stopping by On the Grind recently, and I was genuinely impressed by the exceptional customer service from two employees — Jackson and Marlena. From the moment I pulled up, both of them were friendly, welcoming, and radiated positive energy.

Not only were they incredibly kind and respectful, but I also noticed how diligently they were cleaning and keeping the area spotless. It’s clear they take pride in their work and in maintaining a great environment for customers.

Jackson greeted me with a big smile and made sure my order was exactly how I wanted it. Marlena was just as sweet — she checked in to make sure I was happy with everything and went the extra mile to make me feel valued as a customer.

Lately, I've been pretty disappointed with my usual coffee spot. Not only has the price of their coffee become way too high for what you get, but the service has really dropped off. They consistently mess up my orders—like giving me a blended Sandlot when I asked for a Ripper. And they’ve forgotten the foam top more times than I can count. For the price, you’d think they’d get it right.

Honestly, I’ve found better service and quality at other coffee chains like Jolt. If you’re in the area, give them a try—when they make a mistake, they fix it right away, no questions asked, and the coffee always comes out strong and flavorful.
