Ramsey County Library - New Brighton — Attraction in New Brighton

We love coming to our local library. I like being able to order books to reserve on their app. It's easy to pick them up. The kids area is a little smaller than some of the other Ramsey County libraries, but I like that it's contained. It makes it easier for me to browse for books and still keep an eye on my little ones. The librarians are always super helpful and friendly. This is located inside the New Brighton Community center where the Eagles Nest Indoor playground is also located. When you enter the parking lot go to the right of the roundabout and head to the east side of the building, that is where the library is located. There is a Dropbox on the backside of the building. Beware, they open later in the mornings on Wed and stay open later in the evening that day. Check the hours...

I don't like the carpet. A tiled floor, such as the one in Roseville Library would be more environmentally friendly and hygienic. It's constantly noisy with little kids running around, and screaming.

April 2023 update: People are still loud, but staff is very helpful.

August 2023: It was quiet today in the library.

November 2023: Staff is very helpful.

April 2024: Both Librarians are very helpful.

September 2024: I used the computer, and finished what I needed to do within 10 minutes.

March 2025: prolificworks.com has been blocking my tablet, and android from downloading free ebooks, so I came to the library to use...

It's very small but not stuffy. Plus, there is a large kid play area! HOWEVER, there are only two tables for people to study, not to mention tables to house 10-20 desktop computers that no one was using, and both tables were taken.
