A Tale of Transformation: From Bare Concrete to Cloud-like Comfort
From the moment we first reached out, the entire carpet installation process felt like embarking on a grand adventure. It began with a seamless consultation, where every question was answered with expert precision and genuine care. The planning phase was smooth and reassuring, but nothing could have prepared us for the awe-inspiring execution that followed.
On the appointed day, the installation team arrived with a quiet confidence, ready to tackle the task ahead. With the efficiency of a well-rehearsed symphony, they moved our heavy furniture—including a cumbersome bed and a bulky couch—with the grace of seasoned performers. Not a scuff, not a scratch, just the gentle glide of furniture making way for the impending magic.
For seven hours, they toiled with unwavering focus, transforming our once-cold basement and weary stairs into a haven of warmth and elegance. It was a feat of both skill and endurance. The rhythm of their work was almost hypnotic—measured cuts, swift movements, and a meticulous attention to detail that left no corner unfinished.
And then, the reveal. With the final piece laid, we took our first step onto the new carpet. It was nothing short of sublime. The once-unforgiving floor now cradled our feet with cloud-like softness, each step a gentle reminder of the team’s craftsmanship.
What they accomplished in just seven hours was nothing short of remarkable. Their dedication, efficiency, and expertise have elevated our home to a whole new level of comfort and beauty. We are beyond grateful for their exceptional work and would recommend them without hesitation. This was not just a carpet installation—it was a transformation, and we’ll be walking on this cloud for...
Read moreWe purchased this carpet and install through Costco Services. The installers took great care to not scratch or damage the walls, hardwood floors and baseboards while bringing the carpet in the house and during installation. The two man installation team was very efficient and extremely professional. We were very satisfied with the finished install job. The one thing that raised eyebrows was the fact that after we signed the initial contract with an agreed upon “Costco” price we were told by the installer that if we wanted the stairs installed with a top end look it would cost more. When I asked how much more, he called back to the store for the up-charge price. We were quoted an additional $225 to get the stairs installed with the “”Cali “ style look. There was no additional material required to instal this way other than additional staples. We were slightly annoyed that the sales person who visited our house originally and created the quote never bothered to mention that there would be a significant up-charge for additional staples used on the stairs if we wanted it to look more professionally installed. We verbally agreed to the $225 up-charge. When the revised contract was emailed to us, they charged us $250. I replied by pointing out this $25 price discrepancy. To their credit, they did revise the bill to the correct price of $225. Had CAP carpet disclosed up front that there was another more costly install option for the stairs: we would have rated then a five instead of a four. We were very happy with...
Read moreThe carpeting and installation went off without a hitch! Great quality and, well done to the service and installation crew! The gentleman I originally worked with was very good. However, when he had to take a leave of absence, and, I was directed to someone else, that’s when things started to disappoint me, as a consumer. While my intentions are not to get anyone in trouble, I felt neglected after contacting the person who was responsible for “taking over” in his absence. I called, and spoke to another person who told me they will get back to me for an update to my order, in a couple of days, as I requested. That took 9 days to get a response of any kind. I must say that this is NOT good customer relations, by any means. After working in sales, service, and customer service for 47 years, at a company that’s 128 years old, that would have been completely unacceptable. I simple note of, “we’re currently swamped, or, my apologies for the delay,” or any correspondence would have been easily acceptable. So, I hope this is taken as constructive criticism for the future. Your product is of very good quality, and, I’m enjoying my new flooring. So, the bottom line...
