*Update: I have yet to receive my passport, and I am theoretically leaving in 25 days. My appointment at this office was 20 weeks ago. Due to the mistake of this office, I have spent over 20 hours contacting Amy Klobuchar and the National Passport office, only to be told that no one can help me until it is an emergency (less than 2 weeks before traveling). Due to the mistake made at this office, the "stress free" trip I have planned has been nothing but stress. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE. They will mess everything up and then refuse to help you.
I applied to renew my passport. The lady that helped me told me that I did not need my marriage license for the application, even after my husband specifically asked her if we needed to do anything with it. She said no. Twelve weeks later, I get an email saying that the national passport office did indeed need my marriage license. Itâs now been 2 weeks since they received the marriage license and I still have not received any updates about when I will be receiving my passport. The New Brighton Passport office claims that they are not able to do anything to help expedite this process, even though it was their fault. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They do not know what they are doing. This whole process has been nothing but a hassle that I do not have the time...
Read moreExcellent Service! I completed my forms on-line and printed them before my appointment, and made sure I had all my documents in order for myself and two children, before the appointment. My husband received his birth certificate at the last minute, but I couldn't adjust my appointment time. Since our children are minors and he needed to be present for us to get them passports, he brought his application and birth certificate with and they were able to slide him in with our existing appointment. The person helping us was so quick, efficient, and didn't wast any time, while at the same time was friendly and talkative. I LOVE that we were able to get the passport and pictures done at the same time. Parking was easy and if you cannot do stairs, when you park in the lower parking lot behind the building, the passport office is right inside the door, so no need to use the stairs. My only gripe ... Passports have become so expensive!!!! But that gripe has nothing to do with the excellent service...
Read moreMy experience at this passport office has been very disappointing. The way staff treat people is unacceptable â they are often rude, dismissive, and arrogant, especially toward minorities. Instead of focusing on the customer in front of them, they frequently bring friends or new staff into the area and carry on personal phone conversations while supposedly assisting you. This creates an unprofessional and frustrating environment.
When you try to ask a simple question, they become irritated and start rebuking you for even asking. Staff members Maiyia and Jayleen, in particular, made the process stressful and unpleasant with their attitude. To make matters worse, when we asked to speak with the supervisor, instead of listening to our concerns, she immediately sided with her employees without even taking the time to understand the situation.
A passport office should serve the public with fairness and professionalism, but this location fails to meet even the most basic standards of...
