UPDATE: I spoke with the owner. VERY VERY SWEET WOMAN. She was extremely apologetic about the situation. It appears to be a fly and she does have new cooks that she is working with to ensure they are washing produce. We all know critters are in fresh produce hence the need to wash it. She refunded my meal and made it right. I will be willing to give them another chance just may not be soon. I am going to add a few more stars to how well I was received by the owner and her handling of the situation.
So I ordered food from there last night. Chicken Alfredo for last night and chicken parm for tonight. Cesar salad with both. Chicken Alfredo had ZERO flavor for starters. Tonight heating up the chicken parm and I put the salad in a bowl. I’m mixing in the dressing and I see something black. Thought it was an olive. Nope DEAD BUG! I call them just now and ask for a manager. Woman says how can I help you. I stated again I wanted to speak with a manager. She gave attitude and stated she was. Could of said that the first time. Alls I got was “ I’ve never heard of that before” owner will be here tomorrow call then. So as a manager you can’t handle a situation? Obviously not eating the meal cuz lord knows what’s in there! Read moreNow I know I definitely won't be back! I was there today with a large group. For some reason, the restroom stunk of dead fish. I ordered chicken parmesan since I stay away their pizza. It had a fishy taste to it. My friend ordered the author salad and got like 2lbs of spinach with a half pound of olives. From what I hear, Nick sold the place. This next review is my review from 3 years ago. Pizza used to be great. It used to be the best in town . Now it's very dry due to lack of sauce on the pizza. The wings are delicious, except they aren't as meaty as they used to be, and some seem to be somewhat dried out. And for some reason, they stopped putting meat in their Philly subs, or I should say they really cut back on the meat on their Philly subs so much that you can't find it. I ordered last week a 25-piece wings and received 20 pieces, short 5 wings. When we called Bessie the manager, she said she would ask the cooks, !!!!! Ask them what ??? She did that last time when we got a Philly sub with scarcely any meat .What is she asking them, how about I'm sorry and will make it right for you. Nope ! Read moreThe food is good. The service, eh? This restaurant is very strict on masks even though the restrictions have been rescinded. They really aren't equipped to accommodate those customers who do not participate in the masks wearing. Let me explain. They do no have a system in place for curbside take out or communicating with customers when the food is ready for pick up. I came to the restaurant at the time I was told the food was to be ready and it was not.. I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for the food to be finished. I was told I had "get outside" if I did not wear a mask. I didn't have a mask nor did I feel I needed to wear one even though it was offered. I guess I don't understand the difference between me sitting waiting for my food at the front in the lobby without a mask and the parties sitting at tables (without dividers & sitting in close proximity) also without masks. So because I have condition that does not allow me to wear a mask I was told to basically get outside to wait for my 55 dollars worth of food. I feel the managers here need to do a better job of accommodating all guests. I felt ostracized and very much humiliated. I will not order from here again.
