This is my local AMC movie theater. I waited long while to watch Spiderman No Way Home. The theater room (7) which is located upstairs near the back was empty when I arrived.
I noticed that there isn't really great photos to identify how far you want to sit from the screen. This is a standard format viewing of the movie so the pictures would be in reference to the format. Most people want to sit at the 3rd or 4th row. The pictures hopefully show the difference between both. This is how I view the difference, in the third row, it felt like an immersive view. While the fourth row, you get a good view where you don't feel like you're looking up.
The sound and picture was great for the format. I'm not sure if it's because the place was empty but the sound was loud that I got surprised a few times. The recliner chair on the third row wouldn't recline. I wasn't sure if it was because this showing would have very little people that they're saving electricity or it was broken. I didn't get the test the others. Also notice that some chairs been through a lot when you sit. They feel different. Not a lot of cleanliness because when you look down the cup holder, you can see sticky residue, probably from spilled drinks.
The food station upstairs was not clean but well stocked with necessities.
The staff is nice enough. I must have had the last showing because when I turned around, the one responsible for closing the theater was standing there. Kind of spooked me a little but I understand it was necessary to make sure everyone has left. I used the bathroom before leaving. I asked for permission as I wasn't sure if the bathroom was closed but he said I can go.
The bathroom always leaves my shoes sticky that when I walk out, sounds like I'm walking on those sticky mouse traps.
As a local theater, I can't complain. The sound and picture is fair enough for the format you choose. However, there's other aspects to the theater that can be...

In regards to cleanliness, it seemed good. As nothing was noticeably unclean.
For the food, it is quite expensive, so I usually do not order food when I visit here.
As for the movie viewing experience I will separate my experiences between IMAX, and not IMAX (Digital).
The digital viewing experience was good, in my opinion. The screen was big, but nothing impressively big. The sound of the movie through there speakers was loud and present. However, it seemed like one of the speakers was buzzing, in my experience. The chairs was great, as they recline back and it can be very relaxing. My friend even fell asleep one time, haha.
As for my IMAX experience, it wasn't too good. The screen seemed similar to the digital screen, as I was expecting the IMAX screen to be much bigger. The sound experience was the same as the digital experience. As for the chairs, for some reason, the chairs do not fully recline. This left me and my friend in a weird position, almost like "halfway reclined". This eventually caused our necks to hurt halfway through the movie to the end. This wasn't a pleasant experience. The recline buttons on the chair wasn't responding too much either, as they required multiple presses in order to work.
The staff seem good too. However, I can recall that for my IMAX experiences, the guy that checked us in was definitely "stoned", as his whole face seemed way too relaxed, and he seemed "out of it". However, I don't count that as a bad experience, as it was mostly a funny experience, in my opinion.
Overall, a good movie theater. However, if you ask for my opinion/recommendation, I would rather go for the non-IMAX experience, than the IMAX experience, specifically for...
Read morePOSITIVE(S): Recliner seats, great food selection (actual meals/extensive drink choices including low calorie), elevator access, stubs membership saves $1 in online fees, ticket kiosk is great to pick up online tickets/avoid lines, excellent hand-dryer in bathroom, online customer service will respond quickly if you write them about a problem, digital picture/sound quality is excellent, online reservations are simple and can be texted to your phone and/or e-mailed, trailer previews often come with ratings/criteria & release date written after they finish showing.
NEGATIVE(S): Tickets are a bit expensive ($17+), online reservations are necessary to get a good seat as reserved tickets sell quickly, changing a reservation must be done at the theater (no online/phone changes), credit/debit refunds take up to a week, getting in contact by phone is a gamble at times, passes (included paid ones) are not refunded even if you leave prior to the film starting (only use passes when completely satisfied with seating choice), bathrooms need to be attended to/cleaned more often, escalator only goes upstairs (though elevator access is available), concessions are only downstairs (so if your movie is on lobby/upstairs levels, you must get your food downstairs and then go to another floor). In-theater customer service is average. Employees aren't very outgoing and some use their phones while working (though they generally respond to any issue you might have).
OVERALL: It's a really good theater. It has certain drawbacks that you must prepare for in advance in regard to obtaining good seats and reservations. It's a good theater to go to for a comfortable experience above "regular theaters" even if getting a seat is easier in a...
