Food here is a lil expensive but overall good. I normally order online but today I was around so I went in. I normally spend 50-70$ here each time. Everything was going well up until I had to pay. I asked the young lady for one of my orders to be separated from the rest. She then only packed it separately and didn't charge me separately. I wanted to separate bills for they were separate orders. Then the manager or so I think she was came over and only returned one order and gave me the separate bill. I still needed a physical copy of my other order with the correct price. The woman the proceed with an attitude and told me "Next time be more specific and that she can not simply do a return of such a large number." Mind you my order then only came to 40$. So I told her "if it was done right the first time we wouldn't be doing a return." I do not blame the young lady who did it for she did not understand what I meant by separating them. The Manager if she is one then turned to the rest of the workers and in spanish said... " This white girl is starting a problem over the bills and then told the cashier to ignore her (me)." I originally was going to let it go but then she continued to mumble things I couldn't hear over the very loud music in there. So when all done and said I asked the woman to step aside and told her " you shouldn't assume people don't understand what you are saying just bc it is in a different language." She then told me she said nothing wrong 3x and then said she was aware that people know spanish. That alone says she didn't care if or who heard her. I never said she did anything wrong , bc again I was going to let it go. All I wanted was two bills. It wasn't like I didn't want the food or wasn't going to pay for it. I highly did not appreciate her comment about my skin color or her calling me a...
Read moreQdoba is a great Mexican fast food restaurant. They are always packed with customers because their food is great. Sometimes, I compare Chipotle’s to this restaurant but their is no comparison. Chipotle have their own taste and do not have a variation .The food served from Qdoba is fresh and unique. A lot of students dine here and it is always an exciting environment . One of the servers was working so fast that she actually messed up my order. I told her green sauce meaning a mild sauce but she put another type of green sauce on my shell bowl meal.I thought it was a spicy sauce however another server informed me that it was a cilantro olive oil sauce. It was really good and complimented my meal.Plus , you get a lot of food for the money. The food is so fresh. The tomatoes are bright red, the corn is lively yellow, and the roasted peppers were cooked perfectly. The rice wasn’t gummy nor the beans over cooked.I’m practically stuffing my face at the moment because it’s so gooooooooood ! I feel like I can’t put my fork down. They also cater as well !Sweet treats are also sold here ,you have a choice between a brownie or chocolate chip cookies. I wish they’d open more Qdoba’s in the Tri-state area. The beverages are in variety from Sprite Zero peach flavor to root beer! I recommend this place and rate it a 4 out of 5 for good food,...
Read moreMy friends and I weren't that hungry, so we decided to split a bowl between us.... we got corn added to the bowl (of course, that's one of the best parts) But upon opening the bowl for our order... we noticed something unsettling... we did not see any corn nor did we smell the sweet aroma of the grain. To ease the group's disturbed condition, I raised some optimism by suggesting, "Maybe the corn is on the bottom of the bowl, resting in abundance under the huge pile of lettuce." We begin to sift through the ingredients in search for the golden kernels, but to our dismay we find none. After a couple minutes of searching we were rewarded with just a single piece of the corn, one of out the many we were promised. This brought up the discourse of who gets to eat this singular piece of corn, that will probably be the best bite out of the whole bowl. We were forced to turn into savagery, years of friendship was thrown out the door in this fight for the lone grain. Ultimately, we were cheated, our trust was shattered, and our stomachs unsatisfied. Despite the nature of this review, I whole heartedly mean every single word in this review. I just pray no one else may go through...
