Anne Loftus Playground — Attraction in New York

This playground is great in the morning, before the kids come in :D It is quite big and it has an enclosed mulch area that is great for little diggers. (No sandbox) The sprinklers are quite great (when they work) but the park is wide open so it's easy to lose a kid. There may be adults without children, since it is not just a playground. There are older kids and teenagers, many times we've seen small kids unsupervised and it often smells like weed. It can get too crowded...

We passed by this active and spacious playground during Summer Street. There was a band playing, so we stopped by and enjoyed a bit of their musicals before climbing the hill to the MET Cloisters. As always this park it's so pleasant. And big the bathroom are lit and clean.( this depends entirely on the users,the toilet flushes, there's a garbage can and water on the sink). The swings are working the people always nice. The best community park...
