I was damn near brought to tears after the service I received by the front desk lady and manager (I believe his name is Wilford) at this location. I love this gym because it’s airy and spacious and the location is convenient, but I had no idea the staff here were so poorly trained. Wilford was so mean to me due to me having multiple accounts, an issue that I was aware of, transparent about, and needing help with prior to speaking with him. He made it seem like I was getting over and created a new account to avoid paying for the other one, which makes no sense cause I pay for a membership regardless. He provoked an altercation with me and one of his staff members by saying “her? This the girl you talking about right?” after telling him that her service was not all that great, but he made her look like an angel. I will never forget the tone and nastiness in which he spoke to me. My friend had to call me down because I was literally shaking because I was so upset. I just lost my mom so the gym is my therapy, but I don’t know if I should continue with blink or not. I’m hoping this is something they care about enough to fix. Other than this I have not had any problems at this gym. The black chubby guy (sorry, I don’t know his name) is literally the sweetest and he’s such a hard worker, among others (I met a female trainer who was also great). The front desk needs new, fresh, and...
Read moreReview for Blink Gym policy.
I recently had a disappointing experience at Blink Gym that I feel compelled to share. During my workout, about 45 minutes in, I was asked by the staff to relocate because a class was about to start in the area I was using. I had my equipment set up and there was no other space available to continue my workout. I was informed that it was company policy to prioritize classes over individual workouts, which I found quite frustrating.
Not only was I asked to leave, but several other loyal clients were also affected. It was disheartening to see that the area I was using remained empty and unused for the duration of my workout interruption. This kind of policy seems unfair to dedicated members who are just trying to complete their routines.
I strongly believe that a gym of this size should find a more accommodating solution for classes they dont jave the space needed for clases. Signs indicating class schedules should be posted at the entrance and website so clients can plan their workouts accordingly and avoid potential conflicts. It was shocking to learn that company policies allowed for client workouts to be interrupted in this way.
Overall, I left feeling completely disappointed and upset. I hope Blink Gym takes this feedback into account to improve the experience for...
Read moreSo I have been going to this gym for couple of years now and something has changed. Every year I see new faces at the gym and every other year, gym makes changes to the machine. Last year they decided to make changes to the machines. instead of keeping the machines, they put in new machines and get rid of the machines that most tend to use all the time.
I understand the need to create space for the gym, but it's gotten worst. I always go to the gym in the mornings, but with the way the gym is set up on the last floor, it makes it look like the gym is crowded. Due to the changes of the machines, all of the sudden people are stealing snap hooks from the machines which means can't use machines like seated row or lat pulldowns due to the missing snap hooks. I knew something was wrong because all of sudden we had to write our name on paper for equipment like handles and ropes for triceps and other exercises and now recently people are stealing snap hooks.
What can be done?? honestly, I have no idea because it looks as if gonna either force people to buy their own snap hooks since folks at the gym are stealing or go somewhere else. The gym is usually good in the morning, it's the afternoon and evening have to...
