Pros: with Food Bazaar closed until next year, this is now the closest grocery store for anyone on or around Dekalb in Bed-Stuy. The place is pretty clean and has a decent selection.
Cons: I have TWICE purchased chicken that spoiled several days before expiration. I know it’s not a problem with my fridge because nothing else spoils, nor does chicken from other stores. This store is also over-priced. For example they sell packaged Atlantic Salmon for $16/pound. Food Bazaar used to sell FRESH, wild caught salmon for $14 or farm raised for like $10. I could go on and on with examples from produce, cereal etc. The store is also cramped and they have to get creative with the space - potatoes are stacked on top of each other so you have to choose one on top instead of finding...
Read moreGood place to shop. The other closet super market to me can’t be trusted with some items lol so I come here. They also have a better range of items you don’t see in your local corner store or supermarket. A lot of health foods/drinks , good beer selection, they have good variety of ramen, tofu and kimchi. Always seem to be stocked well and prices are decent in my opinion. Some thing you can get cheaper else where like they’re pasta but I think most items are priced well. Staff is always great and helpful. Manager is always walking around and is very helpful. The cashiers are pleasant and I never go there and the line is ridiculous. They get...

Very disappointing, and after putting it into my mouth I was ready to call the store and complain, but i'd rather my complaint be public because of how many times i've had similar experiences. Just...
