I wandered in here after having my first float therapy session, as my body and mind were craving wholesome food from the earth. I feel I was actually drawn to visit here by the universe 😅 - first of all, the food was amazing. I ordered the red quinoa bowl and while I was eating it I tried to savor the flavors, so that I could hopefully reproduce something similar in my own kitchen at home. Absolutely delicious, I was truly impressed. The ambiance inside is very calming, eating while absolutely surrounded by plants really puts you in a beautiful headspace. The lovely human running the front was playing an incredible soundtrack to suit the mood, and the rose matcha latte was exactly right - not too sweet, not too bitter, not too flavored. While waiting for my food to come, I perused around the plants and beautiful crystals and CBD products that they had scattered about the store. ✨ Definitely tempting! I also got to meet the chef, which was just a sweet moment to meet who has made your beautiful meal. 💫 I will certainly return to try more menu items and also just for the vibe of the place!!

Planted Cafe is your favorite local community cafe located in Carrol Gardens. They also have a variety of plants for sale and the best priced pots for our green friends. They recently acquired their a liquor license. Planted now has a fantastic selection of wine and beer. Everything they have is vegan-base and gluten free, great treats and the best cup of Joe in the neighborhood. From a superfood latte to cashew ricotta toast, they have it all! Ask about the upcoming events and maybe hold your next networking party here too! Let’s get Planted together and continue to make the world a cleaner and greener space! PS: they now have an infrared sauna and a cold plunge in their outdoor backspace! It’s a must try :-)

Lovely cozy cafe with delicious food! So many cafes have food as an afterthought but there is clearly someone who knows what they're doing in the kitchen here! We were very impressed with both the rancheros and the tortilla soup. Idk how they make the cashew cheese but it's amazing! We thought the prices for portions were quite fair, especially considering it's all made in house. The space is very lovely and we appreciated that they have specific tables for laptop workers and tables reserved just for diners. Everyone can be happy! There's even a kids space in the back with toys and things to play with. Everyone on staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend this place and we'll certainly be back.

I’m really not one to leave negative reviews but I’m disappointed in the coffee & customer service at this establishment. I ordered a mushroom latte with oat milk and for 7$ you’d expect it to taste at least okay.. that’s not the case at all.. it was very unpleasant.. and I personally love mushroom lattes (chagachino’s from other coffee shops) .. so I politely told the male barista I was not a fan of the drink and asked if he had any other suggestions, he made me a lavender latte.. great. So I left the mushroom late at the counter and sat down for a moment as he made the drink. The female barista rudely calls me over and asks if I’m going to pay for this lavender latte.. I went over to the counter and explained that I was unhappy with the first drink. She responds “we’re a small business and can’t just give out drinks for free” and offers me a discount. Wow how nice of her, now the 7+$ lavender latte is only 5$.. I took a sip and it was also gross.. they added so much agave it was unbearable, now I am left with two drinks that will go to waste.. long story short the customer service is subpar.. The jackfruit tacos were alright.. Save your money & take your business...

I'm a bit disappointed. First at the prices, $16 for a veggie burger is a bit much but okay.

I decided to get the $10 cashew cheese egg sandwich with seasonal veggies. I added $1 kale. I expected like sandwich vegetables, it was really hard carrots and pumpkin seed? Lol the person working the counter was extremely accommodating, I didn't want to complain but I did not see any egg. I saw like a tiny line of hollandaise sauce looking stuff and kale and carrot. I had no idea that was the "cashew eggs". Be careful ordering because it is a very very small sandwich. It's not very filling. Didn't have much flavor, just kind of tasted like bread and kale.

The inside of the Cafe has a very strange and overpowering smell.

The staff was extremely nice and made me a little extra egg, didn't see it on there but why would they lie I guess? Lol

I really wish I read the reviews first. I also did a Google/twitter search and found out the owner illegally evicted his tenants during a pandemic. That's absolutely despicable. No wonder the food isn't made with...
