I was recommended this place as I searched for a last minute spot to get my hair cut before a weekend wedding, so I bit the bullet and called up for an appointment. Don't expect to walk in; call ahead and save yourself the trouble.

The location was conveniently within biking distance for me, and what better way to cool down after a bike ride while waiting for your haircut than a complementary beer? My appointment wasn't early enough in the day where I felt shame over a bit of day drinking, but in any case I moved on to the haircut which was a smooth, thorough, and pleasant experience. I walked out with the exact cut i wanted, with a bit of pampering involved to somewhat justify the higher price.

Overall my experience was good, but before I commit to calling this place my go to, I want to see some more of what Brooklyn has to offer, so...

Just had my haircut today and I literally could not have been more satisfied. Not only am I usually extremely picky with haircuts (and awful at giving clear instructions of what I’m looking for) but I also decided to give up growing my hair out and get it cut short for the first time in almost two years.

Caroline absolutely nailed it. Best haircut I’ve ever had. From the beginning she was interested in what I wanted, talked me through how she was approaching it and what she was doing and was just fun to be around. Could not have wished the outcome better myself....
