Few issues with this place so Iāll share my experience. I also am a massage therapist so I feel like my opinion here kinda matters
A massage is supposed to be fixated on the muscle and fascia. Never should a massage therapist be massaging on the bone. Multiple times my therapist dug her elbows and gave deep pressure on different bones on my body including my rib cage, my scapula and my spine. This was very very painful. Also the popliteal fossa (aka your leg pit/behind your knee) should never be massaged or touched. Yet she did this and was also painful. Also she went super deep into my calfs and majority of peoples calfās are very sensitive. So that hurt also. 2days later my calfās are still a little sore. But the elbows in the bone is what hurt the most.
I came in with extreme neck discomfort and asked the woman if she could focus mostly on my neck and shoulders. She maybe spent about 8 minutes tops on my neck. Those 8 minutes on my neck were wonderful. She had very strong hands and was able to relieve some discomfort but I needed a lot more time on my neck.
For a lot of my massage she was on the phone. Both talking and making appointments on the phone while also massaging me the same time. THIS IS NOT SANITARY!!!! And VERY RUDE to your client. The place was very busy so I canāt understand why she had to do itā¦but get a secretary thenā¦also a lot of conversations between her and her co workers while massaging me was very distraction. At 0 point was I ever relaxed because she was either digging into my bones, on the phone or talking to somebody else. A massage is supposed to be relaxingā¦this experience was more stress building then stress relief.
I paid for an hour massage. I only received about 45 mins of a massage. Again the place was very busy but stillā¦not an excuse in my opinion to give less then What I was supposed to recieve.
On the bright side this place is very cheapā¦but you get what you pay for.
My actual experience here I would rate a 1 star. Iām giving a 3 star not a 1 because I believe this massage therapist and the place itself has more potential. If the woman actually did some schooling she would be a great therapist because she has very strong hands and great endurance. She finished 1 massage, immediately worked on me right after, then after me worked immediately on another client. That takes a lot of endurance and strength. Massage therapy can be very exhausting so this woman definitely is very very tough.
If she is reading thisā¦please donāt massage/dig into boney regions of peoples bodyās. This doesnāt feel nice and is quite painful. Also hire a secretary to answer your phones. And be more caring for what your clients needs/asks. If I say my neck is bothering me a lot , then you have to adjust your routine to better suit your client and their needs.
Iāll return again in a month and see what happens. If I have another negative experience Iāll change this to a 1 star vote. If things improve then Iāll change...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery disappointed to hear my sisterās experience here. She just texted me disclosing that one of the male masseuses had rubbed his genital area multiple times on her arm during her massage. She was scared and worried that when she told her husband he went straight over and demanded a refund and screamed at the entire staff. The level of unprofessionalism is astonishing as she has been there before and raved about the service. How disgusting that even in 2020 a woman cannot get a massage from a male without being harassed or assaulted. I will NEVER go here and will make it a priority to keep people away.
AFTER OWNER RESPONDED TO MY REVIEW: Yes, I take my sisterās accusation extremely seriously. We have nothing to gain out of this situation. For a business, specializing in customer service I would expect a more accommodating and professional response instead of ā we can refuse to serve people like youā. I have YEARS of experience in the hospitality industry and understand the importance of online reviews and their significant impact on a businesses success or demise. As a business owner, online reviews whether negative or positive are an opportunity to thank or fix any customerās experience at your establishment. After reading your response to my sisterās horrific experience, it is clear that customer service is not a priority for you. How disappointing. If you were truly interested in getting to the bottom of this, you couldāve at least said āwe are disappointed with your experience with us today and will do our best to investigate these accusations. Please provide us your contact information so we can contact you directly to solve this matterā. Just a suggestion for the next time...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI unfortunately had an inappropriate and unsettling experience with my masseuse during a full body massage. He walked in unannounced while I was undressed and remained in the room while I got onto the massage table. There were SEVERAL instances of uncomfortable conduct during the massage as well. It was a rattling experience that I wouldnāt wish for anyone. To the owner, I would like to know the name of the masseuse that conducted my appointment. Please provide an email address where I can communicate with you.
Update after owner response: I am happy to email you privately, but there is no email address for the business listed publicly. Where should I email?
Additional update: I ended up speaking with (presumably) the owner and the conversation was basically just her making excuses for my complaints and asking me to accept a free massage to āmake me happy.ā Obviously going back in is the absolute last thing Iād like to do. I was never provided with an email address (weird). And finally, even though I asked many times, she would not provide the name of the person who conducted my massage. I find this to be very unsettling, donāt I deserve to know who massaged me...
