Luciano (the owner) is a DREAM - and he goes every morning to the Fulton Fish Market to pick out the fish you will be buying at his shop!! He worked at Citarella for years and now is gracing us with his all-things-fish expertise here in Washington Heights/Inwood. I purchased organic salmon, sea scallops and salmon/swordfish burgers on my first visit. Salmon and scallops were off the chart fresh and just as good (if not better) than Citarella - at 1/2 the price. I'll be cooking the burger tonight. He also has branzino, tilapia, grouper, trout, swordfish, shrimp, lump crab meat. You name it - he has it. Walk don't run to Branzino Fish Market. Please support local business...

This was my first time at Branzino and after 5 mins with Luciano I know I’ll be back anytime I need seafood. He was charming, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. We wanted to make a fish stock for stew and he recommended the perfect whole sea bass , then filleted it for us there and gave us everything we needed. The shop is clean and not overwhelming fish smelling. And the stew we made was incredible with sea bass and mussels that were super fresh and delicious. 12/10 recommend this is the perfect...

I love this market and we are so fortunate to have it in Inwood! The selection is excellent and the quality of every fish I’ve purchased has been as good as the fanciest and most popular fish markets in the city.
