A Delightful Dining Experience at Il Sole!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Il Sole, a charming Italian restaurant nestled on the bustling corner of 200th and Broadway. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped by the warm ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant's decor was a beautiful blend of rustic charm and contemporary elegance, instantly transporting me to the sun-soaked Italian countryside.
My dining experience began with a steaming bowl of Minestrone soup, which was nothing short of exquisite. The rich, flavorful broth was brimming with fresh vegetables, fragrant herbs, and perfectly cooked rice, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds. The hearty soup was not only visually appealing, but also satisfying and comforting, making it the perfect dish to warm up on a chilly evening.
The attentive and friendly staff at Il Sole only added to the overall exceptional experience. They were more than happy to answer any questions about the menu, offer recommendations, and ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. The team's passion for providing the best possible service was evident, and it made my visit all the more memorable.
I wholeheartedly recommend Il Sole to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience, whether it's a romantic date night, a family gathering, or a casual get-together with friends. The combination of delicious, authentic Italian cuisine, a cozy atmosphere, and top-notch service makes Il Sole a must-visit destination for food lovers.
In conclusion, my visit to Il Sole was truly an unforgettable experience, and I eagerly anticipate my next opportunity to indulge in their scrumptious offerings. If you haven't had the chance to visit this hidden gem, don't hesitate to make a reservation – I guarantee that you won't be...
Read moreI have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place! We had our son’s first birthday party here last week— everything was amazing! The food, the space, and the staff.
The food was outrageous!! Our guests raved about it. Everything from the house salad, to the penne alla vodka, to the chicken scarpariello was so well flavored and seasoned. Sandra was so incredibly accommodating with the menu; I am gluten free and have several food allergies, but she was able to have everything prepared to meet my needs (the whole spread was made GF!). In fact, we had come there for dinner one night a couple weeks before the party to try the food, and she literally had one of the staff go to the store to buy the GF pasta and flour for me. I was so touched. Also, some of our guests were vegan, and they were able to prepare a special dish for them that was not included on our menu, which was totally above and beyond.
We had the whole restaurant to ourselves, which was really nice and perfect for our party size (we had 50 guests including children). They put away any equipment/wires that were not necessary for the party to make it more children-friendly, which was really nice. The location is also excellent— being so close to the HH parkway and Harlem River Drive made it super convenient for our guests coming from NJ and LI. Sandra also helped us out with finding parking for our large group, which was awesome.
And last but not least, the staff was so kind and courteous; all of our guests commented on how nice everyone was, and how well everyone worked together as a team.
Our whole family was so impressed overall with the quality of service. Our parents both commented on the fact that when they come into the city to visit us, they want to go out to...
Read moreI've spent a lot of money here on drinks, food and hookah and I've never had an issue. Tonight feb 22nd at 12:20am the bouncer looked at me and told me that they are full. They arent letting anyone else in. I just stood outside 4 people came up to him and he let them in. I then walked up to him and said... I thought you said it was closed and it was full? His response was yeah... we are full. So whoever is the manager and owner of Il sole I will make sure I speak to them and let them know how their bouncer was picking and choosing who goes into the establishment which is not legal. I would advise any owner of any establishment to realize that this type of behavior is unwarranted, discriminatory and I am an Art Director for advertising agencies that work with fortune 500 companies and I will make it my business to tell them to avoid your establishment because of the staff you have chosen. I would highly recommend you let go of any employees who lie to their customers and are apparently picking and choosing who can come into your place of business based on inconsequential variables. I will no longer spend a penny in your eatablishment until this bouncer is fired. I will take it upon myself to contact the owners and see what they have to say about the situation. I will also make sure to call the bbb and file a formal complaint. I have worked professionally in the advertising and marketing industry for over 17 years. This does not bode well for your establishment and I will make sure I utilize my influence to voice and communicate my experience to as many media outlets...
