COME HERE! You will not regret it!! I came here after visiting other places around the area and wanted to try this place. I was not let down! FOOD: It was great! I loved what I got (thanks to the daily specials). I got Barbacoa (steamed goat meat) with rajas (pickled jalapeño peppers) with rice & beans and tortillas. The serving was very generous and tasty! It was plated higher than my expectations and everything was delicious. Everything paired well together. My boyfriend got Camarones a la diabla (Shrimp in a spicy red sauce) rice & beans and tortillas. I tried some and thought that the sauce could be spicier because growing up, the name of the sauce is to inspire fear of how spicy it is. As a spicy food lover myself, I was left a little disappointed, but it was tasty and my boyfriend loved it. Chicken taco con todo: awesome. The chicken was soo fresh and soft. Best taco I’ve had from a restaurant. Pros: Complimentary house made chips and tasty salsa. Not watery like most places and had an average flavor. It was just right. Cons: The rice & bean portions were smaller than I’m used to and were warm, not hot, so by the time I wanted a spoonful, they were cold. But yummy rice and beans. Most restaurants slack on the flavor. Quality over quantity, but temperature matters too! DRINKS: Best tasting tamarind agua fresca I ever had! It was delicious. SERVICE: Awesome service! The waitress was SUPER nice and attentive to ALL of our needs, with giving us privacy! Super great as she checked in with us in ordering additional things and the check!

Ok I have ALOT of good things to say about this restaurant. I have been here more than 3 times and I keep coming back because everything is a great experience. First, the service is amazing. The staff there is lovely and warm, and helpful if you have questions. There has never been a problem with any of the ladies who have served us. Secondly, the restaurant is clean and very appealing in all aspects. Tables are never sticky and floors are never dirty. I love their effort in their decorations and I love love love the atmosphere. Music is authentically Mexican and something you enjoy hearing as a backdrop. They have a tv on in there that is not too distracting but nice to look at. Last but never least, the food is on par! Everytime my group goes there we always get nachos as appetizer and they are so amazing and the presentation is so nice! I’ve gotten the enchiladas, burrito, tacos, and they have never disappointed. Perfectly seasoned and plated. My friends only had good comments the whole time while eating. Not only is this my favorite restaurant but they are consistent and hopefully they continue! Love it there ❤️

I would like to know when that time would come in the restaurant business when it is socially acceptable to order only dessert and a drink at a restaurant. I understand table seating is a priority for those ordering dinner, actual food. But, plenty of people in many establishments do actually like to go in just for dessert. I was looking forward to visiting this restaurant for a second time but was completely turned off by the waitress that had to immediately announce that we might have to end up moving to the bar if a family comes in for dinner. (Especially if our drinks and dessert were already sent to the table). I understand it was Little Italy’s Ferragosto and there was PLENTY of people in the area that could come into the establishment for dinner. Guess what! Once drinks and dessert was finished, there were PLENTY of tables left empty from diners that left after eating dinner. I would say humble yourselves a bit. I may or may not return after the experience that I had today.

This small Mexican restaurant makes up for size in it's food. The service was great and the food was delicious and wonderful. For non Spanish speakers don't worry there is a translator . I had the mole poblano and let me tell you it was delicious. I would describe it as a sweet ,savory and spicy dish ,Just the way I like it . Now mole depending on the region it will either be sweet or spicy. Poblano's ( people from pueblos, Mexico ) tend to like it sweet and spicy . This dish and the chili rellenos or accompanied with a side of rice and beans ( and tortillas calientes) soft corn tortillas . The chiles rellenos are a bit spice but with the cheese filling and the silky tomato sauce balance the whole dish ( don't get scared I don't even think it reaches mild spice ).the cheese quesadilla was good . I would have like it if it was filled with a little more queso Oaxaca ( the equivalent of mozzarella cheese in Mexico) you can also add chicken ,and beef or as you like it . The nachos are also order to your liking ,but for this trip we had plain . I like to see the foundation of a good nacho plate for my second visit I have something to base my flavors on . The champurado was very delicious and rich in flavor. The awas feescas where not to sweet ( just the way I like it ) but you can add sugar to taste. Which is a great option that a restaurant would give you that. And last but not forgotten coffee to your liking with a side of milk and sugar . Let me add that this restaurant delivers locally and their service was great!! Can't wait to go back . Hope this was helpful and go check it...
