On January 5, 2025 I bought some peppers. Later on that afternoon when I go to cook, 2 of the 4 peppers I bought were spoiled. One was even molded and fuzzy inside. I've lived in this area for over 54 years and can't remember when I started buying produce here but I can say it is sad how the quality has changed. A few months back I bought a pepper and there was a worm inside. Didn't write about it then because I thought maybe a one time thing but now 2 of the peppers were bad and at $4.99 lb. Smh. I don't see myself ever going back. To those who choose to frequent this store, just be aware that the produce might look good from the outside but God only knows what the inside looks like. If anyone has recommendations of a local store that has good, fresh produce I would appreciate the suggestion.
