Estrellita Poblana II — Restaurant in New York

Ok I mostly order from there and I can honestly say the last time was great. Was my birthday and my older daughter treated me. So I got the shrimp quesadilla with rice and frioles, loved it...ooo and I love that handmade cup with guacamole. That was so good that when my younger baby girl came home from school we went to the restaurant because I was truly surprised/impressed how the shrimp was cooked that night before. Well we should have ordered in. The waitress kept making mistakes and I really didn't blame her because they had live entertainment that evening and it was very loud. So ok..but then she never returned to the table to see if we were satisfied or/and wanted anything else. On top of that we had to call the attention of another worker jus to get the bill...not cool. So the food wasn't as good as the night we ordered on on my birthday...the shrimps didn't really have that roasted taste ..the guacamole cup was barely filled and I think I got the end of the rice since I had way more beans than rice. So my visit wasn't very pleasant...I didn't appreciate that they either didn't have or I jus wasn't offered a liquor menu but I well. In conclusion it's like being lucky or unlucky eating there because you will never have the same service..and just to throw it in waitress u don't even deserve the $2 I left on the table..I'm just too nice to not give u anything. Good luck people..if you're lucky u will get a great meal..cross...

After giving many chances to this place I got tired and frustrated they simply don't care about customers when it comes to delivering, either they forget to send items or they mistake the orders and when people call to complain they have so much attitude and they don't give a damn about you, thank god they are not the only ones in the area and I found this place on lyding ave named " AZUL TEQUILA" They take costumer service very seriously and they food has proven to be as good and cheaper. .this it's my new place to order food from now on..I used to spend around 120 a week there, well not more estrellita poblana!! I recommend you people AZUL TEQUILA just Google it ;).. and that was my last review.. this time as always letting the get away with things.. I order nachos last night and tacos .. so they didn't send lemon for the meat tacos .. so far I know in the mexican culture we use lemons for tacos , when I call to the place to tell them I didn't get lemon for the tacos they blatantly said I have to order a bunch of tacos so they can provide the lemons.. I've ordered to tongue tacos .. I paid for the food .. I know things are expensive but you are trying to mess up with the costumers orders and that's not right...

First time I visit this place during the day at lunchtime. Nice very decent family place very comfortable the appetizer of the house very rich the sauce with chips. The rest of the meal we ordered the molcajete very rich all just that it was a little cold and a little more seasoning. The service, therefore, to my experience, I would recommend to the owner and waitress will deserve them so that they may better try to improve their services! And need a little more attention. I don't know what happened. It took the food to leave, the place was not very busy. But if I wanted to come back I recommend them.

Primera vez que visito este lugar durante el día en la hora de la comida . Bonito lugar muy decente familiar muy cómodo el aperitivo de la casa muy rica la salsa con chips. El resto de la comida nosotros pedimos el molcajete muy rico todo solo que estaba un poco frío y un poquito más de sazón . El servicio pues a mi experiencia yo les recomendaría al dueño y las mecerás que para que les baya mejor traten de mejorar sus servicios ! falto un poco más de atención no se qué pasó se tardo la comida en salir y no estaba muy ocupado el lugar . Pero si me quedaron ganas de volver se los...
