I was totally underwhelmed by crickets candy. I had asked for my daughter to have special accommodations made for her celiac. I found myself constantly having to remind the person in charge that I specifically asked for this prior to booking the appointment. The slime in the photos had color and they said this time of year they have holiday themes so they just put a few sprinkles of cut up candy cane. They advertise that you can make candy pizza (was a rice cake with some chocolate spread), candy jewelry (my daughter made a lame key chain that she spread frosting on and put some sprinkles). They also say that you'll make candy sushi or a burger. When I asked about it the person in charge said it was seasonal and they don't have it anymore now in the winter. I also felt very rushed from one activity to the next. My daughter had fun but I would never recommend...
Read moreThis is an activity for young kids. This is situated in the first floor of an office building. Overall hugely disappointing and extremely expensive for what you get. The ‘experience’ take you and your kids ($69 for the child, $45 for each accompanying adult) through a series of areas with craft tables and very basic candy ‘creation’ but be warned… the extent of creation requires frosting (candy glue) and some sprinkles or mini marshmallows to decorate a pretzel stick, a small wooden heart, a rice cracker… Underwhelming and poorly decorated / produced experience makes this truly pathetic and is a representation of modern day extortion too. If you really have nothing else better to do for 60 minutes with your kids… I guess this is one way to stay indoors. . . But we’d not recommend to anyone. Set this up at home for less than $10 and do a candy craft session...
Read moreIt was a cute experience but defintley overpriced for the value. The decor was nicely done but sparse. The decor was limited to the rooms rather than a running theme throughout. The place also felt a bit dirty(dust in places, staining on cushions etc.) The candy making experience itself was good, my daughter had fun and so did the other kids. The ingredients were simple and easy to do on their own. The items were cheap such as marshmallows, rice krispies, tootsie rolls etc. which did not warrant the price tag. Overall the experience was good but I feel it would be worth is at a $35 price point and adults should not...
