Hoodies everywhere!

I went to this venue on 10 Feb 2023, a Friday night. It was my first time at this establishment. Getting in was quick and easy. There is a bag and body search. I was wearing a blazer that's part of my outfit (crop top, blazer, midi skirt). The person at the entrance indicated that there's a mandatory $5 coat check (CashApp and hard cash accepted). I said that the blazer is part of my outfit, not a coat, and I am wearing specifically this because I get cold. She proceeded to tell me it was not cold inside while wearing a DOWN COAT... that she wore the entire night.

The DJ was okay, and prices are decent but the place isn't as upscale as they advertised it to be. Another redeeming quality is the high chairs and tables available for patrons. They are first come first serve but there was one left when my full group arrived.

The biggest concern I have is the coat check. There was one individual to get everyone's coats at the end of the night. Needless to say, that didn't go well. I'm not sure that's a typical occurrence in the cold months but they need to get it together because the individual was overwhelmed (and understandably rude). The crowd was not pleased and that quickly became a safety hazard as they became rowdy. I just hoped to get out of the crowd safe and uninjured. A HUGE hazard that they need to fix.

The majority of the staff are kind and helpful, especially a gentleman who was everywhere-behind the bar, helping with hookahs, cleaning up, restocking bathrooms, helping with coat check. Please compensate that gentleman generously because he is not only helpful but is kind.

Reevaluate the dress code if you say no hoodies but practically every guy was wearing one. Decent crowd but some things...

I been here 3 times the first time I had a great time made it for happy hour prices was good atmosphere was great we got in no charge 2nd time we was charged $25 each plus $5 for coat check and hookah was $40 plus got there during happy house before 10 which there was still free ticket on Eventbrite that we was told we couldn't use we had to pay which was a lie 3rd time my sister celebrated her birthday here so I got the free ticket on Eventbrite the tickets stated that everyone was free before 11 get there men has to pay $30 to get in as well as cost check so the tickets was false advertised because I was not told once we was there that men was only free before 10 they just change up there rules and prices as the go also hookah now has increased to $54 which is insane I would not be going to this place again ! Management is the worst! Don't waste your money renting there !! Running a business like this , they need to get some training they are very unprofessional. This venue is nice but poor managment is bad for business. I attended a event at this hall , first off there was no security at the door. Secondly they shut the buffet off at 10pm, and closed the door saying to the guests they have to use the elevator which does not work properly we waited 5 mins for 1 trip which is only 1 flight of stairs , and they did not want to allow the guests back in after they went out for fresh air, that was a huge...
