Etihad Airways Lounge — Attraction in New York

If I could give this lounge a zero star, I would. This place is a complete joke. First of all, it is so tiny. It fills up pretty fast with not much seating to choose from. Some seating areas are assigned for families while others are for single travelers. The bathroom is so small, has only ONE SHOWER. Food selection is unbearably limited. The buffet did not have much to offer except light salads and arabic appetizers. So I decided to order directly from the restaurant by the QR code on the table. Once again, not many choices but at least better than the buffet. I ordered basic burger with fries and the burger cane without fries. When I asked one of the waitresses she told me “sorry, but the frying machine is broking”. Are you kidding me? This is absurd.

There is no drinking water here except their so-called “spa water” which is a funky drink that looks like the urine of a hydrated person. Absolutely disgusting.

I understand this is not the main airport for Etihad airways, but you can do better. You can certainly do better than this none sense. This complete joke dressed as a “luxury lounge” in disguise. I feel robbed. And I hope no one feels the same way. STAY AWAY FROM...

I had a very bad experience with them,missed the flight in New York, they didn’t help me to get in , Etihad counter was closed and they refused to give me boarding pass! Although Emirates Airlines counter for flight at the same time” 5 minutes later “ was still open and providing boarding passes !! Even no reservation counter available on NY ! Similar to all other airlines, and etihad call center was useless and unable to contact Etihad team on airport which was almost not available. I couldn’t get my bags also to the second-day baggage claim team were not available. Finally i had to stay one day with my family and kids till the next flight,, I booked agin because they want to charge me double for changing flight!!
