Glam Glow Med Spa — Attraction in New York

As a long time customer here who has bought several laser hair removal packages I am ready to give my full and honest review without being incentivized by a discount like some are here. I am ashamed to admit that although the ladies who preformed the service were nice friendly and respectful and the process was clean and quick there is some real underlying problems here that are the reason I will not be coming back. I will start with the simple things

It’s very uncomfortable to undress and redress while the technician is in the room with you, it’s unnecessary and while I have switched people they ALL stay in the room with you. Negotiating any package price with them no matter how many packages you purchased in the past is like pulling teeth they say they need to speak with the manager owner whoever and in the end it’s not that big of a difference.

Now for the big reason why I will not be returning: I never complained of any pain during treatments and when she asked me how often my hair was growing back I was honest and told her I was experiencing hair growth within less than a week. (At this point I had gotten 6 full body laser hair removal sessions at another place and continued 6 more treatments in specific areas here) she continued “customizing” the machine to my needs supposedly

After failed new package negotiations I seeked a package elsewhere who coincidentally uses the same machine used here the Candela. Only to learn that I am a level 3 on the Fitzpatrick scale and that they should be using mode Alexandra on my hair and that’s the reason I was not seeing progress. The biggest fear unlocked here they have been using the GREEN side which is not Alexandra mode (RED screen) on me which is equivalent to basically doing nothing to my hair (I’ve attached a video of my lower arm day 4 which I have now gotten 12 full laser treatments to see the results) if I were to show you the hair left on my upper thigh after 12 full treatments you would laugh.

Sadly when I came to realize they were not using the appropriate power on me I had already gone through several packages and several hundred dollars. It was close to the end of my treatments after back and forth at my NEW laser place I realized what has happened. When I used my last and final treatment to explain to the girl why I will not be coming back she immediately did not take responsibility and mentioned things to me as if I was a misinformed customer and I never brought this to her attention. She claimed I’m misinformed because I told her for the lasering of my buttock to not do the sides since the hair is thin and blonde and I did not want to stimulate the follicle like that was made up, well it’s a real thing and its called paradoxical hypertrichosis. And she mentioned I never brought it to her attention, well I told her how frequent and after how many days my hair was growing back and you clearly SAW my hair follicles very present and active how dare you act like you didn’t know what you were doing.

4.This REASON right here that put the nail on the coffin onto me making this review as I was only planning to tell her I know what she did, I will not be coming back and asking her why did she do that to me when I was a loyal customer and that’s was that but after THIS I knew I had to inform y’all. She told me the mode Alexandra (RED screen) was way too strong for me and that usually during the length of the treatment she would test it on people and determine if they could handle it. Well I NEVER complained of any pain or discomfort from the laser. She also said she used mode Alexandra towards the final treatments and kept track of the progress of the power used each treatment but mentioned she did not have one for me. Did I mention it was my final treatment? The screen was GREEN! Even in my final 12th treatment she didn’t use mode Alexandra on me and I could tell it definitely caught her off guard that I told her all of this. I do not like confrontation this lady was sweet and friendly but doing this to their customers is so...

This establishment is very misleading. Recently, I came to this place for hair removal treatment on my face. At first, I wanted to try it out with a single session. After talking to the lady at the front desk, I asked her if the first session could be deducted from the total package cost, if I wanted to take it later. She said okay after talking to her manager. On Monday, I came thinking I had an appointment but it was on Thursday, but I wanted to confirm again about the package deduction, but this time the same lady at the front desk said that it would be a $75 deduction from the total package of $390, and that I would have to pay $315 instead. I agreed, even though I was already upset that they had changed their minds even after confirming. It got even worse when today, when I came for my second session, I wanted to pay the $315, but now both the lady at the front desk AND the lady doing the lasering on my face were saying that I now had to pay the FULL PRICE for the package, even though I was told there would be some sort of deduction from the first session! What’s even worse is that, when I brought it up to the very same lady that confirmed my deduction at the front desk on Monday and earlier, she called me a liar! I am still very upset and sad, and even though I felt that I was cheated by the front desk, I still went back and paid the full price because my treatment had already started. Needless to say, this is one of the worst customer service interactions I’ve ever had to deal with, and I am disgusted with the way that this situation...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Glam Glow Med Spa and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease.

The spa itself is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. So luxurious also. The staff were all highly professional and knowledgeable, and they went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was nothing short of exceptional.

My massage was heavenly, and I could feel all the tension and stress melting away with every stroke. The therapist was attentive to my needs and preferences, and I felt completely rejuvenated by the end of the session.

Additionally, the products used at the spa were of the highest quality, and I felt like they were really nourishing my skin and leaving it looking and feeling amazing.

I will begin doing laser hair removal sessions with their new Candela machine now that the summer is over and I’m super excited for my results
