Pronto Pizza Pasta — Restaurant in New York

Last night I ordered several pies, an appetizer and an eggplant rollantini dinner. As soon as I opened the eggplant dinner, I thought the smell was off. Unsure if it was just my imagination, I took a bite and had to spit it out. I asked another person to try it a.d they had to do the same. The dinner apparently wasn't made with fresh ingredients a.d the cheese must have been bad. In called the store to let them know and the girl that answered gave me the manager. He asked if I wanted another one...um....NO! Why would I want the same rancid batch of eggplant I just received. I told him i wanted him to pull it and not serve it to anyone else. No offer to refund my money, no offer for a store credit. Just bad business practice. If I were the manager, I would have sent the delivery man back with the refund or credited my card. I typically don't write many reviews, but this is the second time I have had spoiled food from here. The first time I let it go. Pronto Pizza is a go to choice of mine whenever I want pizza ordered to my house. It has very good pepperoni and buffalo slices and is a relatively cheap option when you use the WEB10 coupon online. Furthermore, when you order online, you also get points which can be used to get free food. Using the online menu to manage toppings can be very tricky but more often than not, you will get a call to clear things up. As for some of the other things you can get: the garlic bread is slightly above average, the pasta isn't that good, the chicken wings are decent, the buffalo roll is somewhat good but doesn't compare to most buffalo rolls that I had, the pepperoni roll is great if you can get past the terrifying amount of grease and heat by extension and the garlic gnots aren't bad either.

Pronto Pizza can best be described as a safe, reliable and cost effective choice that doesn't sacrifice much in the quality...

I can tell you that the service is terrible. The ladies who answer the phone are very nasty and impatient. I called an order in at 9:30 and 45 mins later I called back to see if the order had left and I was told it did. So now it’s 10:15 and Im waiting for my food. I then called back at 10:45 because I haven’t received my order but no one answered the phone. It was 10:50 and knowing they close at 11 I kept calling. Still no one picked up. After finally receiving the food at 11:10 it was ice cold and I told the delivery driver I didn’t want it. Knowing he already had to pay for my order because the actual store closed and I was his last delivery (mind you i called an hour and a half before they closed) I gave him the money for it.
