This supermarket does not know how to stay on top of their items when it comes to expired food..... especially the BABY FOOD??!!??!? Several times i have shown the manager he has expired baby food in the aisle. I have always shown concern and shown appreciation that I brought it to his attention. Today I went to pick a few snacks for my one year old daughter. The Gerber packets I came across was expired. I saw food dated back to 2017. I started pulling the food off the shelf and as I got to the back of the shelf, the food was dated July 2018. This is when I got FURIOUS!. Whoever packed the shelf deliberately placed the EXPIRED BABY FOOD in the front and the fresh food in the back of the shelf. The person and the manager are definitely aware of the expired dates on the Gerber food and obviously has not a care in the world that they are selling EXPIRED baby food. Long version: The store itself is exactly what you would expect from a lower price range grocery store, and has everything you need from produce to meats to canned foods to pasta etc.
It leans towards primarily unhealthy options I would say but you are getting what you pay for with the lower prices compared to brooklyn organic only...

Believe it or not, I had my first job here packing bags and helping people home with their grocers getting a Big 25 cents. That is when you felt rich with a nickle in your pocket. I'm glad to see Key Foods still around and still serving the community. Many childhood memories out...
