Key Food Supermarkets — Attraction in New York

This store is the worse store I ever been in’ I went into the store to get some items and one of the items had a price of 3.49 and when I went to the cashier she told me a different price but when she call the short man with the ponytail and ask him to go see the price he came back and told me a price that wasn’t up there I explained to the man why have many and I mean many of the same items up under that price if it’s not the price and all he said was do I want the small one and I’m like why would I want that one when it’s not the one I want and if you have over 10 items with one price then clearly it’s the price. The people are very rude and shows no respect for the customers and the young lady with the braces would of got her face slap from just being smart but she was lucky its Sunday and I was with my child because you better believe things would of went left but not only was customer service bad the skinny man who was standing at the door was going at it with the police for a person leaving food outside the store and then turned around and ask me what’s the problem and I turned to him and ask him is there a problem and who is he talking to because clearly you want me to slap you’ just this one experience inside this store will make me never want to go inside this store again until they teach they workers to have a better reaction with there customers and this was around 6:55pm 9/8/24….they do not deserve any...

I have to say this is not for me. It's nothing against the supermarket but I'm used to shopping in places like whole foods and Trader Joe's so come into a store like this is just very underwhelming. The meets don't look great. The layout of the store is pretty dismal. The customer service is so far. Like I said it's not horrible but when you go to establishments like whole foods in Trader Joe's the service, the product selection, the price is, The Establishment itself is going to be very different. Everything is going to be very professional. It's going to be very busy. When you go to check out there's going to be 20 to 30 cashiers waiting for you. When you have a question someone's going to be able to answer it. There's going to be a quick turnaround of inventory. The entire nature of the business is very different. So coming here is not something that really suits me so I just won't be doing it. I did happen to get a large bag of rice. So that's one thing that I found very useful there. And that was pretty much it for me. Again, I am spoiled by whole foods market and buy Trader Joe's so, that's...

If you want to purchase rotting or expired food for experimental purposes? This is the place for you. If not? Stay away. There are better options up and down Flatbush Ave. I don't live in the neighborhood anymore, but for the many years I was there, KF was the last resort.
