VOGUE LOUNGE Bronx — Attraction in New York

Legit xiao long bao and northern Chinese food. Was quoted a 25 min wait on a weekend for lunch but ended up waiting only 10 minutes for table of 2. Service is quick but they seemed short staffed so there were quite a few tables empty even with a line outside. We ordered:

Hot soy bean milk in both sweet and salty. I grew up drinking sweet soy bean milk so it hit the spot. I never tried the salty version before which came with the fried dough that you usually eat with congee floating in it. It has the same consistency as the sweet soy bean milk but just blander, it was salty at all.

Pan fried udon - I love Shanghai noodles because they're not too salty and the fact that the noodles are nice and chewy. The dish was mainly noodles with a little pork and bok choy mixed in.

Shanghai siumai - these are siu mai with rice inside instead of pork and shrimp. I've never tried this version and actually prefer it over the dim sum version.

Replace scallion pancake and beef scallion pancake - both good but I preferred the regular pancake...

Don’t go to this discoteca, the dj is horrible, the dj was so bad that everyone was just standing there, not dancing or anything , I went on a Wednesday the bottle was overpriced like crazy, we bought a whisky old parr it cost 275 ,feel Ike this place it’s not worth the money you give , I been to many places in nyc, that is way cheaper and better then this, please don’t waste your money, other thing to keep in mind to the hookah person that serve you, every minute they would asking you need a refill and just take your hookah and change it without asking, they cost us 80 dollars for the hookah.

Excited to come to this location Disappointment We came they asked my friend if she was pregnant in front of everyone thinking that’s classy. You don’t ask a women if she’s pregnant out loud in a room of random people. You can discreetly ask her or have one of the women as her. Service is trash. When you walk into a place they should explain hey if you want drinks go to the bar if you want a table we will connect you with a waitress. Instead once we are in they try to talk to us about tables bottles and we can barely hear them. Here I am shouting. Overall I’m upset at the experience here. Not even a like in my corona. Like...
