MG54 RESTAURANT & LOUNGE — Restaurant in New York

Ok so this place is in my neighborhood so I was a little skeptical to go...lol... but I was pleasantly surprised by it. The food was DELICIOUS!!!! My husband ordered the Churrasco De Argentina and it looked so JUICY!!! Hubby said it was FANTASTIC....he also enjoyed the tostones and veggies that came with the meal. I ordered the Piccadera Mixta which consisted of fried calamari, empanadas, wings and quesadillas. Well, that was the 4 items I picked. I believe there are 6 or 7 to choose from but I don't remember what they were right now. Anyway, it was all DELICIOUS!!! I gave them 4 stars because I did not like the red sangria and the drink menu was rather limited. Also, because marinara sauce and A1 steak sauce should've been offered for the calamari and steak.... well, I'm used to that...

I rarely give bad reviews but had to here. Music, hookah and food was cool. My salmon sushi was okay. The waitress mentioned they had piña coladas so my friend and I ordered one and when we tried it is was virgin and didnt contain alcohol, this was not explained to us. We found out they don't have a liqour license. I asked if I can return the drinks and they said NO. The atm fee was $4, that's so money hungry by the manager. 15% gratuity automatically included. Very unprofessional and so hard to communicate with anybody for any updates. Forget about calling anyone there, they won’t EVER pick up. The owner KATHY doesn’t listen DESPITE HAVING PROOF of trying to constantly communicate with the business. She is not considerate and unwilling to communicate appropriately especially with people who are giving YOUR business money. Highly do not recommend as the unprofessionalism is out of this world. They rather take your money and run instead of working with you. Do yourself a favor and have your event elsewhere with understanding,...
