Disappointing Experience at Paula Cooper Gallery

I visited Paula Cooper Gallery hoping for a great experience at the Cecily Brown show. I was excited to see the exhibition, so after work, I rented a Citi e-bike to get there quickly. When I arrived, I parked the bike outside the glass door and asked a staff member at the info desk if I could bring it inside for just 10 minutes. She said “yes,” but as soon as I brought the bike in, she changed her mind, saying it was “too big.” I understand that there may have been a misunderstanding, but I felt unfairly blamed and uncomfortable when she gave me a look as if it was my fault.
