A Hidden Oasis in the Heart of NYCđŸ„čđŸ„č

Urbana Cafe & Gallery is one of those rare places in New York City that effortlessly blends great pastries , excellent coffee, and inspiring art into a single unforgettable experience. Nestled in a charming corner of the city, this cafĂ© is much more than a place to grab a bite—it’s a vibrant hub of creativity and community.

From the moment you step inside, the ambiance is inviting and warm. The space is a thoughtful mix of industrial chic and artistic flair, walls adorned with local artwork that gives the place an artsy yet comfortable vibe. It's the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time, whether you’re there to meet friends, work remotely, or just soak in the creative energy.

The coffee? Absolutely top-notch. Urbana serves up expertly brewed coffee that rivals some of the best cafes in the city. Whether you're after a classic espresso, a frothy cappuccino, or a smooth cold brew, the baristas here take their craft seriously and it makes all the difference. And for those who love a good pastry with their coffee, Urbana delivers with a selection of freshly baked goods that are the perfect accompaniment to any drink.

But what truly makes Urbana Cafe & Gallery stand out is its integration of art. The gallery space showcases rotating exhibitions of contemporary art, much of it from local artists, adding a dynamic cultural layer to the cafĂ© experience. It’s not just a place to eat or drink—it’s a space where art and community converge, creating an environment that feels uniquely New York. You can enjoy your meal while taking in thought-provoking pieces, or even attend one of the gallery events for a deeper dive into the city’s art scene.

The staff at Urbana are warm, attentive, and passionate about both the food and the art, which creates an inviting, laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the Urbana familyđŸ„č💕💕

If you're looking for a cafĂ© that offers more than just a great cup of coffee or a delicious snack, Urbana Cafe & Gallery is a must-visit. It’s a perfect spot to fuel both your body and your creativity, all while enjoying the best that New York has to offer. Whether you’re in the mood for a quiet coffee break or an afternoon spent exploring local art, Urbana is a true gem in the heart...

Next up is Urbana Cafe and Gallery, a bright and airy spot tucked along 10th Avenue that feels both like a gallery and a café—a space where light, greenery, and warmth intersect in the most effortless way. I stopped by after a workout, eager to recharge, and the atmosphere immediately invited a slow, restorative pause.

The interior is one of the first things that strikes you. Sunlight pours in through expansive windows, casting soft highlights across the clean lines, neutral tones, and scattered greenery. It’s the kind of space that makes you want to linger, to watch the city move outside while savoring something simple yet thoughtful inside.

I ordered a flat white, perfectly balanced—creamy, smooth, and precise, with a comforting weight that pairs beautifully with conversation or quiet reflection. To accompany it, I chose a cheese danish, a sweetened, flaky croissant that shows off its layers around a creamy baked cheese core. Each bite was warm, delicate, and satisfying without ever feeling heavy, the sort of pastry that quietly elevates the morning.

The combination of sunlit ambiance, subtle design details, and the understated elegance of the menu made Urbana feel like a gentle retreat from the pace of the city. It’s the kind of cafĂ© that blends artistry with hospitality—a place where both the space and the offerings feel thoughtfully curated.

Freakin Incredible Experience at Urbana Cafe and Gallery

Urbana Cafe and Gallery is a true gem that’s quickly become my favorite spot! Legit as soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with the warmest atmosphere and the friendliest staff. The owners clearly pour their hearts into every detail of this place and its artwork, and it shows.

Let’s talk about the food—the little Madeleine cookies shaped like teddy bears are legit insane! Not only are they adorable, but they taste like a little bite of heaven, perfectly tender and buttery. If you're feeling naughty, pair them with one of their morning rolls, which are hands-down some of the most insanely delicious pastries I’ve ever had. Soft, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness, they’re a perfect way to start the day.

Now, I’m not typically a coffee drinker, but Urbana's coffee is in a league of its own. (Not just because Timothee Chalamet was seen drinking their black coffee) It’s the one coffee I actually look forward to, and I’ve found myself coming back for a cup on days when I never thought I’d crave one. Smooth, perfectly brewed, and with the kind of depth that makes you savor every sip. It's a small miracle that I’m hooked on coffee now, all thanks to their expertly made cups.

And as for the staff—wow, just wow. Every person who works here is genuinely kind, welcoming, and seems to love being part of the Urbana family. It’s not often you find such a perfect combination of excellent food, great coffee, and...
