Coming from southern New Jersey, getting to Pier 12 is a pretty lousy drive, having to first crossover into Staten Island, cross the Verazano Bridge into Brooklyn, drive the BQE, then once off the exit snake through weird small Brooklyn back streets. There are people in vests here and there sort of helping to guide people where to go, but most were just standing there not really doing anything and just sort of waiting for their shift to end. The close you get to the cruise ship, the more congested the traffic flow becomes and the more impatient the people in vests become. It was raining and they had carpet laid out certain places and it was wet so if you're walking at a more fast pace that water from the carpet would jump to your shoes so that was definitely uncomfortable. It is also very stuffy and at times in would be very hot standing in line for up to 2 to 3 hours just to meet maybe 1-3 people. Read moreIt was very easy to get in and out of the Cunard terminal and we will definitely consider sailing from Brooklyn, NY again. Our GPS got a little confused and signage could be better. The Terminal is located on Bowne but signs make it seem like it is only one-way and that you can't make a right into it. This is not the case, it is only one-way to the left from the intersection.
