These mfs do NOT know how to handle long hair. I went here in February for a mullet and got a genuinely perfect cut, probably cause it was one of the younger barbers who actually knows more than just doing fades. Went to the same place again for a clean up, BRO, one of the older barbers RUINED ME. RUINED my hairline and left it uneven, had to go back to get it fixed. You know how hard it is to grow out and find the right flow...

Worst haircut I’ve ever had, to say the least. Stay away.

After the worst haircut of my life, I walked two blocks down to Sammy’s on Cruger, to find out I was the THIRD customer today looking to get my haircut fixed after getting my cut at Puerto Plata. I didn’t even have to say anything to the barbers-they already knew!

Great barber shop, but make sure to pick the right barber! I got lucky my first time and received a perfect haircut from a younger gentlemen. Kept going back for him, but one day he wasn’t there and I tried one of the other barbers. This time an older gentlemen, he did absolutely terrible and I regretted not waiting...
